Thank you everyone for your responses to the The Little Taru : Finale. I've had several requests to write more , so here it is. I hope you like it ^.^ I was thinking about how fun it is to go explore areas you've never been to. I had been told by several people I needed to see the Hall of the Gods so a few days ago I tried without much success (being a taru whm I thought I'd manage casting distance for sneak somehow in Ro'Maeve XD lol ). So last night armed with trusty silent oils I made it to the Hall of the Gods and was amazed ^^ . I stayed there for several hours just enjoying the surroundings and the music while I chatted away the time with friends.
----------------------------------------------------------------

The little taru stood on the legdge, the wind rustling his tunic, as he surveyed the huge creag-like area before him. Ro'Maeve was by far a striking contrast to the peaceful tranquility of Zitah, through which he had just passed. Could he really find something dear to him beyond this stark wasteland, the little taru thought.

After returning to Jeuno victorious with his friends from Oztroja, much to the obvious disgust of the Archduke, the little taru had decided it was time to venture forth into Vanadiel once again on his own. The little taru had been told that beyond the Sanctuary of Zitah , through an unforgiving area known as Ro'Maeve , he would find something that would be dear to him...

To the little taru's left and right swarmed Killing Weapons and Cursed Dolls, all eager to attack anything that made the slightest sound or uttered even the beginnings of a spell. Double checking, the little taru made sure he had his silent oils were ready. Softly he crept past the creatures, venturing into the maze-like structure of rings. Slowly the little taru worked his way through the rings til he finally found an immense stairway leading upwards. Climbing the stairs , the little taru found himself completely surrounded as he became aware his silent oil was wearing...

Quickly the little taru scurried towards an open entryway he could see before him. If he could just get inside and use another silent oil the little taru thought.

One of the cursed weapons screeched, it was that eery cry that all weapons make when they've found a victim. The little taru had been heard...

Weapons from all around the area began to swarm towards the little taru as he scurried for the doorway. Reaching the steps, the little taru felt the pain of dark magic ripping through him, the power of which he'd never felt before. Could these weapons be that strong , he thought, as he collapsed to the steps.

Just a few more feet... then he'd be inside and could find somewhere to hide , he thought, but the little taru found that he could no longer move, and the weapons weren't wasting any time coming to claim their prize.

Thinking fast, the little taru knew what he had to do. Uttering a few quick words under his breath, a bright halo of light exploded around the little taru as Benediction took its effect. With his health returned the little taru scrambled frantically towards the dark entryway.

The little taru felt the swipe of a weapon's claws rip through the back of his tunic. Quickly swerving and bringing up his Holy shield, the little taru barely managed to to fend off another blow. An angry red aura exploded around the weapon and the little taru braced himself for the smite attack that all weapons seemed to love.

The power of the attack was immense and the little taru found himself rolling backwards from the sheer force of it. The little taru knew he couldn't take another blow like that...

... but the weapons had stopped... The little taru stood in amazement as the weapons all stood silently watching him. Looking around the little taru realized he was inside the entryway thanks to the force of that attack.
"This place... it is holy...they cannot enter..." The little taru said.

Dusting himself off , the little taru got to his feet and began to look around. His eyes, as they slowly adjusted to the soft light, began to grow wide. The little taru found himself in an immense corridor , walls towering to great heights around him and the soft light of the sun filtering in from openings in the ceiling high above.

Although this place bore a striking resemblance to the cold dreary halls of Delkfutt's tower , the little taru found this place to be warm and welcoming. Slowly he made his way forward, feeling in awe of the sheer size of the place. Ahead of the little taru the hallway opened up. Looking up and around him the little taru fell to his knees , humbled.

"The Hall of the Gods.." he whispered. "The risks... they were all worth it..." Around him statues stood up to the ceiling , with Altana towering over him on one end , and the chained god Promathia towering above him on the other. The little taru sat back in awe of the Hall's beauty. There the little taru remained for several days lost in thought.
-------------------------------
Upon his return to Jeuno several weeks later the little taru was sitting with his friend Solrain in the tavern recalling the tale of his journey.

"So did you find what you were supposed to find, little taru?" Asked the mithran.

The little taru nodded quietly, feeling once again humbled.

"... I found.... peace, my friend. I found peace."

Kit, any chance we could get links to all your stories, maybe in your sig or something? I would like to save these (don't worry, I would never repost them without permission) in someplace safe rather than on an internet forum :)

Rate up, I love these.

great story little taru!!

it made me remember my trip to kill dark spark, when a whole lot of demons suddenly got trained to me. i ran to the entrance while the high levels in my pt tried to peel them off 1 by one. so i know what its like to run for the zone when a group of evil things is clawing at your back ^^

Awesome, Kit ^^

But i dunno why you left out the part at the end when we were in the tavern and I had a few too many Bastokan Pale Ales which prompted me to jump up on a table and start /shouting about the crappy PTs I've had lately.

Actually... I guess it was better that you left that part out...

I'll look into that site Nights ^.^ I've also had some people suggest I use an online journal for them. Anyone have recommendations on a good journal website?

Thank you all again for the great responses ^^
My closest friends and the great people on this board are what keeps this little taru happily going back to the world of Vanadiel. ^.^

Hmm...

A lot of my friends use www.Xanga.com or www.opendiary.com for a journal site.

Personally though, if you want to get your stories out into the public, I still recommend www.fanfiction.net .

Trust me when I say that a LOT of people read the stories on that site, even if not all of them leave reviews. I know this because I have gotten emails from fans before, and been approached on Bismarck before, by people who have read my stories and loved them, yet hate to leave reviews.

Just my recommendation^^

Man I love your work its great.
Two Thumbs Up ^^

Now someone tell me how do I rate someones post? There are very few I would love to rate, such as this one.
#14 Mar 18 2005 at 1:51 PM Rating: Excellent
Okay, to rate, first of all you have to be a scholar or higher in ranking.

Once you are that, take a look at a post.

Directly below the poster's name, post count, and possible picture, there is a drop down menu that says "select rating".

Click on it, and choose the rating that you want to give the post.

And then scroll down to the bottom of the page, and hit the button that is below the last post on the page that says "rate posts".

You just rated your first post!
