Ok, here is the deal, i was actually wondering, even though the game says differently, if you can do all the quest and missions with a sam/rng, rng/nin, pld/war, rdm/blm, smn/whm, and a whm/blm or a blm/whm. I am a rng/nin, and like most, i am not very happy about the nerf, but i am not giving up this job anytime soon. Anyway, this is my static, with my other character of course, his name is Strifer. Thortonbachs is just my mule. As of now, we are all 67. One of my friends in the static, Montyman, has a whm that is 67, but a blm that is 71, so we're relatively flexible with him. I just wanted to know, what do you guys think if this party went through all of the missions. As of now we're on ZM5 and PM2-1 (we just ran through the promivions and that was that), but we will get started on the PM missions very soon, i'm sure. We are currently going to finish up ZM5 this weekend, but i've read ahead and alot of the party suggestions aren't all of what our jobs are, and i really don't like partying with people out of my LS anymore, its just boring :P
You should be able to do all of the ZM's with that party setup easily.
I did ZM5 - ZM12 in an afternoon with my old set; PLD, RNG, RNG, SMN, RDM, BLM. And we had one death when the boss in ZM12 did a special on our smn ><
As for the Promyvions, I'm only on 3-5 so I really don't know what's in store yet to come. But I think with that setup you could get up to where I am.
I think you may actually have an easier time of it than most... you have the comfort and security of doing these missions with a group of people you trust.

So far we are doing quite well with our set up. We seem to tear through anything that stands in our path.
There's a huge bonus to this also..... we are going through this game together with the friends we started the game out with. Not too many people can do what we have done and stay together this long. Yeah, we may not be pulling huge numbers as far as our exp goes, but we sure have a lot of fun while we are killin stuff.
That is what this game is about. Having fun and reaching your goals with the ones you love and care about.
I wouldn't change any of this for the world!!

Oh Gam *huggles* I have quite a few jobs that I can lvl with ya^^ Whenever you get some time off work let me know, we'll go out and lvl together.

Yes, I enjoy our set and think we can do almost anything we want with our setup. I see no reason why we cant go all the way with the jobs we have...but you know I want to switch to blm as soon as I can...I miss blowing chit up^^
I agree with Tracy...this game is all about reaching your goals with the friends that you love and care about...even if we havent got the textbook setup, we have fun. At my level fun gets harder and harder to find.
