Yup, an admin, now I own your *** Smiley: laugh

Actually been playing XI, moved Wintaru to Asura temporarily to hang with some LS mates from XIV and we're alternating between XIV and XI while they get XIV sorted out. I made a mule on Bismark with the name Wintaru so I will keep my name when I come back Smiley: nod Bismark is and always will be my home Smiley: thumbsup

Wow forgot about this thread. Hit me a min ago about it.
Grats on Admin Wint :P

I still miss FFXI but not enough to return lmao.
Managed to get in on the Open Beta of FFXIV, sadly I did not like it.

Lol I even had it pre-ordered and all.
Maybe later down the road.

Bumping my old *** thread.

How's FFXIV working out now?
WoW is so damn boring and drama filled it makes me miss the good old days of FFXI.
Playing Guild wars atm but really really thinking about a return to FFXI.

And whats this I hear they raised level cap?!?

Level 90!

And exp and merits so easy, it's possible for even casual players to have capped merits on 20 level 90 jobs.

The best description I've heard is that in the last year, people have spent a lot more doing, rather than standing around and waiting to do.

Is it still a pain in the *** waiting for a group? I remember years ago sitting in Jeuno or some place for hours waiting. Wonder if my Mithra is long dead :(

Depends on the jobs you have and what you want to do. Getting an exp party usually takes 10-15 minutes. Getting a party for seals, boss clears, specific missions, or NM fights can still take a while, although the following jobs at level 90 speed up the process significantly: MNK, WHM, THF, BLM, BRD, BLU, NIN, and WAR with all the WS unlocked.

Hmm do they still delete the toons after long time away from game?
Killing point for me is to start over from level one. I left game with a few million Gil and best gear (at the time lol)

Starting over from scratch is easier today than ever before.

However, they keep characters available for restoration indefinitely during the Return to Vanadiel campaigns. Other times of the year it's hit or miss, but as long as you have the original POL login info, you've got a good chance of restoring the old character fully.
