Returning player looking for home + LS. :)Follow

Hello everyone! Lately, my friend and I have been reminiscing of all the fun we had back in FFXI. I've been contemplating it for awhile myself, but after being told what has been implemented, I'm very excited to actually start playing again. I started playing with the NA PS2 launch, and ended up quitting about when Chains of Promathia came out, so it'll essentially be a new game for me - besides knowing the basics.

I understand that because of the server merges happening within the next month, I'm somewhat limited to what server I can start out on. After browsing a couple different forums, including this one and FFXIAH, Bismarck is one of my top picks.

I plan on starting tomorrow, when my friend will have everything downloaded and ready. What I'm really looking for, however, is a linkshell. Are there any active Social / Casual linkshells currently recruiting, and willing to help newer / returning players?

My social linkshell has many active members and we never mind any new ones. the ls is mainly social with some emphasis on quests/missions etc and very helpful. just shoot markas a tell if you see me in game, later.
