It's been awhile but I'm finally comming back! :) I did my time with WoW, Rift etc, But nothing cut it like FFXI did. :) Sadly I went to Micro Center warehouse and found the 2008 Vanadiel collection for 2.99$ I about died seeing it that cheap. I bought two so I reactivated my account and made one for my brother, Any LS's still alive out there? I've heard that FFXI went down hill since the new FF..

The 2008 Vana collection will be missing the six DLC expansions. You can buy the whole kit for $20 off Steam or Direct2Download. Since the DLC expansions have no physical disks, you just need the code they send to you and you can apply it to the account you just made. The first three DLC expansions aren't really necessary, but about 50% of today's endgame occurs in the second set of three (the Abyssea expansions) so you'll want to try to get those before you hit level 30 when you can start the storyline.
