Hey Bismarck. Returning player of about 4 or so years. Was browsing around the forums but I wanted to ask this question to get a definitive answer. Is it possible/viablo to solo from 1-75 nowadays using GoV/FoV? I just found out about GoV/FoV today so I don't know much about it. I would love for someone to confirm if any job can solo using this system. If so, I'm assuming no one groups in the traditional sense of that word (as in how it was 4-5 years ago), so I suppose that would make soloing/small grouping GoV/FoV the superior leveling method?
Lastly, is this a good guide for leveling 1-75?
1-12: FoV outside your favorite nation.
12-32: GoV in Gusgen Mines, Page 1
32-58(65): GoV in CN, Page 1
No one at CN? Try GC on page 2
58(65)-75: GoV in BO, page 2 &/or 4

This plan is good except that using GoV in this places and at the lower levels you mention only really work well in parties or alliance.
The big difference is that those tend to be very loose (people leaving and coming) and as such quite easy to set-up. Depending on the level sync, it can work as low as 2~3 but usually 10~15 is the best (to achieve good kexp/h).
Other thing to keep in mind is that once you're in zone for GoV you should aim to remain there for some time as zoning will make you loose the exp bonus (can be around +40pct per page). So bring scrolls, equipment. You still have to leave for limit breaks if it's your first job.
The other thing you can look at after 30 is Abyssea parties, you will need to leech a bit to get cruor then you can be a key person (usually 1-2 per alliance). Once you're 60 (if mage) or 70 (if melee) you can participate in fighting/healing and nuking (at later levels).
For GoV, check the zones to sea if there's a critical mass of people (you recognize by the levels), if not, shout in Jeuno to build a pt/alliance.
Same for aby actually.
