Sorry for your loss, she sounds like a great person to have known. I think it's awesome you continue to carry on a part of her legacy, where she was well respected. If I see you around, I'll be sure to salute!

Thank you for letting us know.

ShadeChaos will be greatly missed by everyone. We loved her - she was smart, witty, and a good sport in all things.

I remember the first time I met her, it was my 2nd LS ever and I still had virgin eyes to most of the game, only barely in my 40s and struggling to keep going back to level subjob. She said stay put, came to find me and basically dragged me through a genkai fight, showing skills with a smn I wouldn't see elsewhere till 75. One could argue the game's players have always imbued a sense of nurturing towards all new players who honestly want to learn; well Cindy was one of those trailblazers that made sure your conscience was checked and overwhelmingly polite at all times. Also helped save many, many valk dunes parties. Many. Maybe it was the sand. while others lost their marbles, she was immune to it's insanity inducing effects...though she might say she purposely planted her marbles in safe spots throughout the dunes and that they were never lost, just cleverly hidden. Then laugh.

RIP. And thank you for sharing, Mr. Shade.

Mr Shade,

Bach here, I've known Shade since maybe 2005 and got to play alot when the 1st 5thElement Ls was formed with Mike and Leela. I had came back for a shortwhile last year to FFXI and Shade was still online, then I remember her mentioning going out of town and never came back.

Deep condolences to you and your family
