A friend and I have gotten together to start a podcast called Lard Lad Radio and, both of us having played Final Fantasy XI for a good amount of time, we ended up talking about it and sharing some pretty candid stories, both good and bad. We interviewed our friend who played FFXI for a quite a long time more than either of us. We all played on the Cerberus Server back then and made a lot of memorable friendships with some good people. We got to thinking and realized that we couldn't possibly be the only ones to have some good stories of the connections we made and the friendships we forged.
We'd like for some players, both new and old, to come forth and share their stories, both good and not-so-good! If anyone has anything they'd like to share, candid or otherwise, we'd love to hear from you. If possible, we'd actually like to interview a few individuals on our podcast if they'd be willing. In particular, we're doing segments regarding the social aspect of the game. The people we've met, the adventures we shared, although virtual, were still very real to us. We have memories we look back on fondly and also those we learned life lessons from.
In particular, we'd like to hear from people who've played on the Cerberus Server. Our character names were Arget, Roostalion, and Kuik.

We're just setting out and we feel like we've hit a pretty hot topic that we can relate to. We're building our website and we've established our podcast at :
We've also set up a YouTube channel where we've uploaded our podcasts to archive them in a way people can still listen to them at:
We'd really love to hear from you guys, the people that made that made Final Fantasy XI an experience to remember!
