Also, by gbaji's logic, straight people should have never been allowed to get married because that would be giving them rights they once didn't have.

That reminds me of asking my mother, "Who married Adam and Eve?" during one of our sex-ed chats.

Oh, how she must have looked forward to those. Smiley: laugh

Gingrich is projected to win. Only 6% of the precincts have reported in.

Romney went from "The only guy to win both Iowa and New Hampshire and the only candidate ever to win those plus South Carolina" to "Won New Hampshire, lost in Iowa and S. Carolina".

13% in and Gingrich has a 13 point lead. He's not going to lose it.

Hasn't Romney already given his concession speech?

Quote:
"This race is going to be even more interesting," Romney said during his concession speech. "This is a hard fight because there's so much worth fighting for."

I'm seeing people commenting on the concession all over twitter right now

The polls closed an hour ago, and I can't find anything anywhere about any concession speeches.

Didn't say he'd lose it. Just a little early to try to poke fun at gbaji when there's even a small chance of "Oh, you liberals were all putting so much emphasis on Gingrich winning and he didn't and blah blah blah showing just how afraid of Romney you were and blah blah blah."

Romney was whining about his opponents using the "Weapons of the Left". No wonder Gbaji loves the guy.

Has Romney mentioned the candidate who actually beat him in #scprimary, as opposed to Obama?

Oh there we go, an admittedly torturous reference to an unnamed opponent who is apparently in cahoots with the forces of darkness #scprimary

According to an article I read, Romney mentioned Gingrich by name once.

That never ceases to sound stupid. It's up there with "It wasn't fair he brought a gun to the knife fight."

I know "officially" that Santorum has been declared the winner of Iowa, but I think I saw on Rachel Maddow's show last week that 8 precincts have gone unreported because apparently none of those votes were ever received? So who knows which of them really won.

Yeah, there were all sorts of *****-ups. But, officially, Santorum was certified as the winner.

Was he officially certified the winner? Chad Olsen, executive director of the Iowa Republican Party, declared it a split decision due to the missing precincts.

Yay, more horserace coverage. If we're REALLY lucky there will be meaningless news stories implying anything is actually in doubt all the way until March 6 when it becomes obvious Romney can't lose any of the states which actually have a significant amount of delegates.
