Today is my first day back to work after my little trip to same-day surgery hell. I shall use the time to properly think about my week affairs.

We're going to get snow tonight - maybe up to a foot. I will get out and snow show maybe. I'm really feeling the need for some activity after moping around the house all week like a sicko.

My kitchen creation for the weekend shall be salt water taffy.

I don't have any other plans. I owe my son a movie and he's on vacation this weekend so it would be a good time to go but we've not found a movie either of us are anxious to see. Anyone suggestions?

I've been in the office for an hour now and no one else has come in yet. I feel like I missed a memo.

No big weekend plans this weekend. Getting our tax stuff all pulled together and general house/kid stuff.

The morning started off busy, but I have a feeling it's going to be a boring day. Saturday, I'm getting my Moogle on at the Distant Worlds concert. Sunday, I'll probably take a nap or something.

Edit: I was right, it was a boring day.

I almost went to Pittsburg for that concert, since it isn't that far from me.

Bday event tonight for a friend, tomorrow I am hosting a werewolf party at my place, and Sunday I will probably be SW:TORing the day away.

Nothing fancy for us.

I'm trying to get my Syndicate review out the door (like the game a lot), but there's a lot to write.

There's not much moon this weekend.

I get to wire the crap out of a server rack today. that should be fun! After that, if my roses get here i'll plant them over the weekend. If not, I dunno. on the other hand there is also talk of possible snow, so who knows?

Who do you review for? Personal blog or some site?

http://oxcgn.com/

Just a small, Australia-based Wordpress site. We link primarily through N4G. I'm not being paid, but it's been nice for getting my sea legs with game journalism. I'm trying to build a resume within the game industry while still pursuing licensure in Architecture. Don't know what I'd do with it yet, but I've got this notion of wedding the two interests, somehow.

I should be attending E3 on their behalf, which I'm pretty excited about. It's not something I ever expected I'd do.

I actually have both Saturday and Sunday off this week, so naturally, today is dragging ***.

Nothing really planned. If it's nice outside, there's plenty of **** to clean up. Other than that, working on some personal projects.

I have an album on iTunes now... finally. It will be on the other main music sites within the week. I'm super excited about that.

Yesterday saw some great weather. It was 70 all day, so I took a good sized bike ride and went to Market Square to play for an hour or two. Went and saw Star Wars in 3D with the ladyfriend, (she'd never seen any of them) which was fun, even if it was gimmicky. Clothes shopping today. Going to the semi-finals of the voice contest I entered in Oak Ridge on Saturday, but I doubt I'll see myself in the finals. I was told yesterday that I needed to have a country song and an R&B song by Saturday. (The guy running it lost my email, apparently) I'm hoping to not move at all on Sunday. That's the plan, at least.

These things are not a necessity. You can now get disposable undies (probably from amazon) and pizza/chinese will be delivered right to your door (well, not my door, but many doors).

My husband actually commented yesterday on my lack of dirty laundry. I guess I lounged around in the same pair of sweats all week.

I have a dream of winning the lottery and then just buying socks and underwear in bulk. Each morning I'll bust open a new set of socks & undies and each evening toss them in the trash. That new sock feeling every morning!

Nice sound. I'm sure others have mentioned the incredible similarity of your voice to James Taylor?

I'd get bleach free all-natural socks and undies and burn them in the wood stove.

Foot to fuel ftw.

Winning the lottery is all about not having to fill your home with the scent of burning foot every night.

Besides, any time I feel a draft I'll have an Irishman shovel more panda cubs into the furnace.

Panda cubs aren't really clean burning. Go with baby whale. Burns longer and cleaner.

Can you club baby whales?

Otherwise I'd stick with baby seals.

All aboard the story train!

Wait...

*sigh*

I don't know what I'm doing this weekend yet. But I think I need to get out of the house a bit more, maybe watch less TV with a 3 year old. That and my sis-in-law's taxes I guess.

I force mother whales to have abortions and then club the fetus. Much more size-manageable.

I need to find out if I can get rides to some meetings for the Faerie Festival
Sat. and pagan group Sun. I like to go to both, but otherwise will spend days knitting and caring for Jonwin as needed. Tomorrow meeting is at the camp ground we are having the Faerie Festival at and I think it would do Jonwin a lot of good to go also.

For someone with a total knee replacement just a week ago, he is getting around far better then expected. I hardly have to lift a finger to help me most of the time. He got up and made us pancakes this morning without any help on my part.
