lol. That's the model they used in the intro cinematic too. Never quite understood why they didn't give the main characters custom models, like they did in DA2, to tell the truth. Always was a little weird when you inevitably ended up sharing your hair style with someone in camp, because they took all the decent ones. Smiley: mad

The top/banner image with her holding the lightning? I don't remember that but I may have missed it. It looks like Morrigan: The Awkward Teen Years

Ha-ha, you paid for Witch Hunt.

Edit: Also, nice picture. It looks like Morrigan grew 12 years younger, ate a bunch of ice cream sandwiches and hit herself in the face with a trash can lid.

Actually, I didn't buy that one. I think I bought the Return to Ostagar, Leliana, and Golems DLCs.

Something with the shadows on her eyes makes her look a little derpy, too.

The intro when loading up the game, not when starting a new one. I don't really know what to call that one. It's where Leliana, the Warden, and Morrigan all fight a dragon. Might be others in there too, I don't remember.

Huh. I believe you, I just don't remember it. Maybe I was getting a drink at the time.

As an aside, it's a good thing you become a Grey Warden or else everyone in Feralden would be forced to call you "Hey, you" the entire game.

Ummm, it's that video that starts out with the Warden looking up with growing eyes, Leliana does a back-flip off of a big pillar, Morrigan turns into a spider and attacks some Darkspawn. Jog your memory?

Wait... we're on the internet...

Found it! Well, I found the extended trailer that the opening cinematic is a part of.

I kinda want to play on the PC just to download the Mod that lets you have that skin for your Warden...

Also, I like all 3 of those characters way more when they are being this badass, lol.

Huh. Never seen that. Had to play it without sound so I'll have to check it out again later.

The in-game scene (which might not play on PC) is just the latter parts, where you fight Darkspawn and then the dragon. It's more clips from this than anything else.

Do you guys really think it's that much of an improvement to get the PC version if you already have a console version? I have the basic game for PC (no DLCs or Awakening) but my save file for PC is pretty far behind my file for the 360.

For ten bucks for the base game+DLC+Awakening+DA2 I'd say yes but I'll admit that I haven't played it on a 360 to give an honest opinion. But that much content for ten bucks makes it hard to go wrong, especially if you don't have DA2.

I didn't realize it was still on sale. Excuse me while I go have a furious internal debate over the value of that $10.

Holy crap... yeah I think I'll go get that and take my 360 version to the local game shop. That should come close to breaking even. =x

Yeah, I went for it. I'm going to regret losing the money now, since my funds until I finish school in a month are next to nothing, but it's just a great deal. And now I can mod. :D

Yeah, and the best part is that the download should be finished by the time I get off work. Although I did make some stupid mistakes with my mage on my pc save file. Hell, I might as just well start over from scratch again, lol. Although this really makes me wish I had the option of using my 360 save file for the PC. Oh well...

Make sure you upgrade to 1.05. Otherwise your DLC won't work. I have a post in this thread somewhere with some details.

There are some really nifty armor textures out there, and if you intend to go female noble that romances Alistair, you can download a wedding mod.

There's also that lovely mod that gets rid of the giant spiders...

lol, poor Digg. Y'know, I don't have a phobia of spiders, and the spiders in this game scare me when they drop from the ceiling, and skeeve me out a bit.

If you really have a problem using Zev as a melee rogue (and you care) there's an advanced tactics mod that makes your rogue party members attack from behind the mob for backstab. It's pretty fun, but it makes the game easy (it also sets up your tactics for you, if you want), so you'll probably want to bump up the difficulty.

The thing I didn't like about him so much was his lack of lockpick early on. I may have to find a mod that lets me redo his points if I play through again. Hell, who am I kidding? WHEN.

It always did irritate me that he wasn't cunning-based, since it's so much better than Dexterity. Not nearly as much as before they patched it, but it's still the best stat for DW. Bows, on the other hand, do want Dex. And Leliana gets cunning bonuses. Smiley: mad

You can also get it to work by registering the game on EA's site, though that's more of a pain in the *** than just downloading the update. The update did break my start menu links though, I had to delete and recreate the damn things to be able to launch the game from there.

As to game content, I'm pretty disappointed in what they did to the Blood Dragon armor. Back when the game was first released, it was one of the best armor sets in the game for a sword and shield tank. They pretty much ruined the set with the stat changes. It's not even worth buying the rest of the set off of that damn Dwarf at camp now.

If you really want to cheat, using the PC version allows access to the Developers Console.

Edit: I haven't used it personally, I just learned about it due to a bug with Leliana where her affection can outpace her conversation chains and you miss out on her side quest. As it turned out, I just used the prank gift to lower her affection, had the talk and used the Feastday gift to restore her feelings. Women Smiley: rolleyes
