Haven't even played that game, but I hear it's good.

If you're referring to me then you're just simply making stuff up to make a post.

Is he? I think this time, for once, it is not just a simple quip aimed for a minor lol. Care to re-evaluate?

Eurgh. How many times have American Citizens used their firearms to control their out-of-control, unjust, or unrepresentative governments?

Now how many times has an American civilian or police officer shot and killed a perfectly innocent person because they thought that person owned a gun and had it with them?

How many successful revolutions and depositions of governments have happened world-wide in the past 50 years where the civilian populous was almost entirely unarmed?

God, I hope it was consensual...

Or at least left no visible marks...

And I truly hope he didn't reach for anything!!!

Constantly. Every single day the fact that the 1st amendment exists acts as a counter to oppression. It's really hard to measure a deterrent.

By the civilian population? Zero.

Did you mean the 1st amendment here...?

Well, the First Amendment DOES act as a counter to oppression and probably far, far more effectively than the Second Amendment.

More delusions. The way you observe the world is pretty strange, dude. It's too bad you lack creativity or talent, cause you could probably channel that into art, music, or film & people would think you were smarter than you were.

Like Lady Gaga or Darren Arnofsky.

Your lack of fidelity in your comments is quite embarrassing. You have no desire to substantiate your claims, just throw out insults for self-satisfaction. It irritates you that I'm able to justify my claims that are contrary to your beliefs, yet you deride my world observation...

To be fair though, my position isn't based on some kind of emotional connection to a potential victim (much less a specific type of victim). It's about the legal rights of the father to protect his family and home. I'd have made nearly the exact same arguments if he'd found some guy in his living room tangling with his stereo rather than in a bedroom tangling with his daughter. Yes... cue in retorts of how I'm equating his daughter to a piece of property if you want, but I'm looking at the legality of using the firearm in that case, nothing more.

I was doing really well with not over-thinking hitting so many green arrows next to your name. Why did you have to go an ruin it?

There's an idea for a thread: what we'd send to room 101; it'd be just like that show, room 101, where people talk about what they want to send to room 101.

No idea how much sarcasm and tongue-in-cheek is happening in this thread, but this is mildly disturbing.
