Guess I just made it a day late, as this is as usual a working weekend for me.

Last Wednesday I went to the local SBTDC (Small Business Technology Development Center) and took a course on Writing a Wining Business Plan. They stress research, research, research, so I been busy online looking at doing online marketing, since I don't have a physical shop. I now have several web seminars to watch about using various social media to market ones jewelry and creating a web page for my business.

This has led me to try running my first Facebook ad with a small budget, to bring traffic and likes to my Business page on Facebook and hopefully from there page hits on my Etsy store.

I need to get back to watching web seminar on using Square and Jewelspan for online market place. I already have a Square account, but may instead look for a web page service that can handle e-commerce.

Later I and Jonwin will be going to the Baltimore Science Fiction Society''s annual picnic

Then it's back to watching more we seminars and doing market research until I have scoped out my competitors.

I'm going nuts trying to type on this laptop due to it adding extra letters in words.

My sister's birthday tomorrow, then watching football at my dad's place. Should be fun, hopefully the Netherlands can survive the heat and kick some Mexican asses.

They bought a house together last year so it's not like this was much of a surprise to anyone. It's only a matter of time before they start making babies.

Since I was going to have a long weekend next weekend anyway, I used some of my vacation time to just get the whole week. I'll be spending the next nine days doing as little as possible. Today's major accomplishment was making a pitcher of lemonade. Even though the Steam Summer sale has sucked this year, I still have a few games that I picked up so I'll look into playing those. Maybe I'll take a nap at some point too.

Went to picnic with a migraine threatening to make me sick to stomach, but glad I was able to go, as I got good advice on what to do while researching my business plan. One person that used to do Small Business development advice for the city, said he was glad to actually hear someone who was doing all the things he use to want to shake people for not doing, back when he was counseling them. He's now retired, but offer to give me help writing it. Help I may take him up on, as it's well known that I can't write a sentence without spelling and grammar errors.

But the Good Will summer sandal sale landed me a near brand new pair of Born Pamatis for only three fucking dollars!

I toured Boston's North End on Friday. There are some great little Italian places tucked down in there. The rest of the weekend was gardening (I got WEEDS!) and moving, reorganizing and making room for my son and his gf. We're a household of 4 again.

Strawberries are in season. I over-indulged. Smiley: drunk

Mowed the three blades of grass that pass for the lawn, pulled weeds, fixed a hole in the roof which is really really fun. Spent a lot of time at the park, since apparently most of the neighborhood is suddenly all into soccerball. It was kind of nice and peaceful. Dog ran into tree while fetching his ball which was weird since it was well after the thrown phase and into the retrieval part.

Boss had a get together, and the oldest became the life of the party when her loose tooth came out. Good times.

Other than that it was fun stuff like dishes and laundry, as the weather was kind of yuk. Mostly stayed inside because of it, did have some downtime on Sunday though, so made a big fort out of a bunch of the furniture and the kids hid from me in there while I got busy trying to make a new home for my Sims. Four hours in and I'm thinking I need to redo parts of it, it isn't turning out quite an I envisioned, and some places are much more spread out than I'd like.
