Best and Worst players on IfritFollow

Honestly, if you can see your own flaws then you aren't that bad. You just need to take the next step and fix them. ;-)

Best Players

CrimsonBlades - Best damn LS there ever was or your money back! We're all very close friends and there are even a few couples, too. We're led to victory in our many endeavors by none other than Morbius, Scarlett, Scelesta, and Halostar.

Obelisk- One of the leaders of TheMonarchy, and a sex maniac. Almost as much of one as me. He helped me get my Fransisca, and I can't thank him enough for that~.

MorbIus- Not to be confused with MorbUS, the mithra DRK, although Morbus is a good friend of mine too. Morbius is a very noble, selfless, honorable person. I've never seen or heard of one bad thing about him.

I quote him when I kneeled before him for giving me a pearl to his LS: "Kneel before no one, for we are all equal. Welcome to my family."

Scarlett- He's an awesome leader and my biggest rival among Warriors. Although he levels much faster and has a lot more money to throw around, I think one of these days I could outdo him. Someday. Maybe not this year though x.x

Morbus- After I taught him the disengage haste trick, he's taken a liking to DRK once more. >.> He's probably one of the most talented DRKs I've met. Starscreem still wins in that department though.

Keelie- zOMGhihi2h3r! She's one crazy mithra, and she's an awesome friend. /cheer Keelie.

Halostar- He may be a manthra but it's still fun to stare at that mithra butt of his >.>

Hey, if all I can see is the mithra part, why bother looking past that if he doesn't mind?

Irisaya- She's a wonderful friend of mine, and her unmistakable speech pattern is just one thing that keeps her in that 'never forget' list of mine. Anyone who knows me well enough knows I have a bad habit of staring at mithra backsides a bit too much >.>;; I try not to stare at Iris because she has a BF, but I have loads of fun staring at her mithra booty and she has loads of fun slapping me when I do. It's a win-win situation. XD

Her old BF was a jerk, so hopefully her new one won't suck so bad. Kuwabara doesn't know about the time we died in promy-holla and I used her butt as a pillow so that's good news. >.>

Seeye- Great THF and good puller. Has her sh*t together. She and I met in a party with Kristianna in the dunes. Gone but not forgotten.

Schu- She's so sweet; always encouraging everyone no matter what, never saying anything mean about anyone (she did once but she practically cried with regret afterwards).

She's lots of fun to tease since she's blond, but this irritates her to no end so I've decided to stop :/

She's head over heels for Ronnold, who returns that love, but they try very hard not to show it. They hate PDA. Orz, you should see them around me though. Gawd.

Sakkara- She hates people (don't we all?) so therefore she does not party. However, she's such an awesome gal and we of TheCrimsonGuardians all love her. ^^

Okay, maybe she IS highly aggressive, and she's proud of the fact that she's more manly than most men (myself included), but that's why we of the Crimson Guardians love her. :) There's just no one like Sakka.

Scelesta- AKA The Scelly. She's an awesome leader and a very talented RDM. Words cannot describe The Scelly adequately :P she's that good.

Starscreem- Now here's the kind of DRK I wish there were more of! Screem is a load of fun to talk to, and compete with as well >.> you could say I want to level to her DRK's level again so we can go head-to-head in DMG vs DMG. Sounds like lots of fun... if I can manage to level that fast :(

Once during a Darkspark run we came so close to each other's damage it was hard to tell who did more. The only indicator I had was my Rampage did more damage than her Guillotine by 4 points. Neither of us had used any buffs at all (she TA'd the guillo onto me but that adds 0 damage subbed so it doesnt count; she used it just so I could keep tanking the thing). At this time we were almost the exact same level, too. I'm thinking we are equals, but that burning desire to compete is still there in both of us. :)

Littlejohn: Makes me laugh every time!

Caruviel: She was an excellent Paladin that I remember well from our Party in Crawlers' Nest. I remember her getting Flash in that party. I think we easily pulled at least 5k/hour in that one session! I may never catch up to her now because I level like once a month.

Purity: She is just about the sweetest person I've ever met. Good friend of mine. Too bad her parents made her quit :(

Poptart: He's rank 10, is NA, and a few weeks ago I saw just how good this little taru was at RDMing. He did everything flawlessly; he was so efficient he had time to melee a bit.

Centhea: I am friends with her RL husband, Bullwinklejmooz; Centh and I are just aquaintances that might see each other once a blue moon, but I haven't forgotten her. She's a very kind person ^^.

Kristianna- Man oh man has Kristi changed since the day I met her. The first time we met, Seeye and I both knew that Kristi would be our downfall in that pt. She was such a brat back then.

The second time we met, she didn't seem to remember me. Until I reminded her about that one dunes PT. She apologized for her previous actions, and after a while of talking to her...she turned out to be just about the sweetest person I'd talked to all year.

It goes to show ya, people can change for the better.

Ronnold: Ron's my [Home Key]. When he and I first met, he was a subless level 13 RDM. He basically played his RDM like the 2003 Bradygames guide told him.

Once he switched to PLD, however, he became one of the best players I've ever seen. We look back at the old days and he can't even believe he listened to that crappy guide. He plays every job he plays like it matters.

He later turned in his PLD armor and went the way of the Samurai. He thoroughly enjoys SAM like no other job he's done before. As with all his jobs, he is very good at what he does. He's so good, in fact, that a HNMLS asked HIM to join. He's a 75 SAM now.

Haseo: He was the second person I met in-game. We started a LS called TheKnightsOfTenken. Sadly, this LS is now dead. It's so sad he will never get to see his dream of us being a HNMLS come true.

Kametatsu: First party of my life had this guy in it, leveling his WHM. He helped a ton and we were kind of bummed that he didn't want a Pearl to the knights. Oh well, the SamuraiPizzaCats are a good LS too.

Joege: He's a bit suicidal, but this guy's great. He finds all the great get-rich-quick schemes and milks all the money out of em. He is the only person in the LS to successfully camp the monster signa. His insane persona is a perfect match for his Job: BLM.

He quit some time ago, and Ronnold and I miss him. Joe and I had a lot in common what with our catgirl obsessions and all >.>

Many of the people I haven't listed are already listed elsewhere on the list of Best players. It seems the best of them are quite popular.


Bad List

Badcarma: Ron and I call him BadPLD. He should switch to DRK. He hates taking hits. He hates dying so much that he'll refuse to voke at times. He doesn't use flash almost at all at level 40.

Example of refusing to voke: Yuhtunga Jungle. Everyone has 2hrs ready. Including carma. We ask him if he wants a Gob. He says maybe. Gob gets to camp and he wants his HP to be topped off. He has 5 away from max HP mind you. He yells at us, refuses to voke, and logs off in the middle of the fight. Ranger had his 2hr though and we killed the gob without him.

Ashigaru: As far as I know, he probably quit the game. but before he did he apparently did a whole lot of training in the dunes. The only party I've ever had with him was one where I was leveling my WAR sub, and then he picks a camp for us. The camp is too dangerous and the WHM refuses to go that close to a gob camp, so we pick a better camp. He becomes intensely adamant about it and stands right where he is, refusing to move from his camp.

...well, there was a reason camps near gob spawn points are a bad idea, and he decided to bring it back to us. The minute he got aggro, he uses it to try to kill the rest of us. The WHM panics and cures him, which gets her all the hate from the 5 goblins, which proceed to kill her as Ashigaru runs to the zone. The rest of us die and I boot him from the party. Clearly, he thought what he had done was exhilirating because he immediately spams in my /tell box:

"w000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000t!"

And then he calls me and my father gay! I hope he has quit.

Pyroshady and Shadymule: He deserves to be shot for calling himself a MNK. He uses underleveled gear, underleveled subjob, and doesn't mind doing 2 damage per fist b/c he refuses to pay for food.

And to add reasons to hate him: He once ran a casino that Haseo played at. Haseo won 10,000 gil and Pyro logged off. Pyro then bragged to other players that he stole the gil. We've called GMs on him, though, and he now denies everything.

They were there to help me the first time I too the Selbina-Mhaura boat (And pirates attacked!) I got sneak+invis was them, and they saved my life :)

This is by far one of the dumbest posts I've ever seen. Ever.

BAD PLAYER ALERT.

Sokar: RDM27/MNK9

Bee spatha (level 11 sword)
Beetle harness (level 21 body armor)
Cape (level 7 back armor)
Lizard gloves (level 17 hands armor)
Brass subligar (level 11 leg gear)
Shell ring (level 11 ring)
Shell earring (level 11 earring)
Tourmaline earring (level 10 earring
Blood stone (level 1 waist)

He lacks a shield, a ranged, ammo, headgear, necklace, second ring, boots, a decent subjob, a properly leveled subjob. He invited me to a party, and since there was absolutely nobody in Yhoator Jungle my level, I accepted, and he put a party together with no White Mage. The entire party is in Yhoater Jungle now, and wondering where he is. He took the other way. Lame. The next thing I know, a Tarutaru White Mage (level 28) spawns right in front of me. I told the party they needed him, and disbanded. I'm currently waiting for Sokar to leave the party so I can join. I'm just chillin' next to them.

I'd have to recommend Alta, Anetto, and Lipupu under the great players list. I was trying to get to Norg on my own (at level 30, yes I did have a deathwish.) so i was at the intersection just south of the Norg Entrance and was killed by Ghasts. I waited about half an hour hoping somebody would walk by and raise me, when this trio comes down and raise me and escort me all the way to Norg, didn't ask for anything, they did it on their own free will. Also have to thank Noazon(sp) and Koami(sp) they helped me get the coral. I thank them all.

OK, I've been reading this thread since it started, it's about time I put my list up, here goes:

Good players

Bilorilo- RL friend and one of the best BLMs I know. Also manages to outdamage every dark knight he parties with, and he is a Tarutaru Dragoon.

Cynic- very good BLM and backup healer

Spork- first person I know that reached lvl 75 (BLM)and also a very good monk (for a Taru)

Mikekirby- another RL friend and great WHM, always willing to help out too

Leupan- Samurai I've known since he was a lowly Warrior, very good player

Alpahaknight and Silvermane- two brothers that helped me from the beginning but have since quit the game, I'll miss you guys and the ChampionsofUltima LS

Kima- another old LS buddy and very funny guy, always a good time with Kima around

Zharanaka- hes been through the game with Bilorilo and myself since the start, always a solid DRK

Mystify- the first person I ever partied with, introduced me to my current favorite job (Bard) way back when I was a Monk and just starting out.

Bad players:

Ryanracers- haven't had the misfortune of partying with him, but had a bad experience when he asked for help with a quest, I told him I was busy and got away then, whew

Sujo- not actually a bad player, but is the biggest a$$hole I've ever met, and I've met a lot of a$$holes.

My ego doesn't need nurturing. :) It's just fine. If somebody has gotten better, then they must have realized that they sucked at one point, and they should post that they know they were not up to par earlier, and that they have improved. And people (such as Sorak and Ryanracers) are obviously not getting better, or haven't had enough time to get better yet.

i second that on Bilorilo, i partied with him the other day in Qufim and we rocked it out. /cheer

Ban gil sellers. and to all BST please charm the stroper chymes so they cant claim them

Yeh i figured that even though it did seem way rude of him, and put me off since so many ppl in this thread have praised him, he could've just been busy and never gotten back to me, in which case he didn't deserve me being like 'pshhh eff that asob' plus i didn't want the rate down from his friends

He was in our ls. He was an a$$ and got kicked. The ls owner and he had a chat, and he came back to the ls. He immediately started acting like an a$$ again. He got kicked. He won't be coming back.


I don't know Sokar myself, and most of that sounds pretty crappy (MNK subbed to RDM... WTF?). But why would a mid-20s level RDM need a ranged weapon?


If "casting judgement" is so terrible, I suggest you find a robot colony. Every animal on this planet casts judgements on a regular basis, and I fail to see the problem with "nurturing" the ego of a good player.

Hmmm... lol nice to see some more familiar faces post here, I think I know maybe um... 6 people that actually post here in the game now^^ lol um...

BTW so you guys know Ccryder is Ccrider there one in the same so...

You kind of misinterpreted the point of my post, but meh.

holyheal is awesome, this in most cases is a popularity contest, of that i happen to agree, however i've only pted once with holy and that was for a garrison, and he rocked, not only insanely nice and willing to give up 2 hours for a 7 knot quipis but he taught us all how to fight in a garrison, i would party with holyheal anytime
