Does anyone still play the old school way? or does everyone leech off abyssea and level sync? the reason i ask is the party system is the main reason why I came back into this game. After playing WoW for a while I wanted something a little more challenging. So I decided to come back to FF11 after quite a long absence. Only I find that all the things I came back for don't exist anymore. I am currently on the Phoenix server, but Leviathan was my home back in the day and if what I am looking for is here, I all about transferring or just re-rolling. If there are any LS's that either do things the old school way or at least plenty of people around that I could find a traditional party in the dunes, qufim, jungles, etc. let me know.

It's very rare to find anyone who still likes playing the "old school" way. Maybe a handful of veterans who like doing so for the nostalgia (like me), but a linkshell-full - no way.

If you want a traditional party in the "classic" XP areas, you'll probably have to be pro-active about it (i.e. talk to people, actively invite them into your parties) instead of sitting around with your flag up.
