I'm just going to come out and say it. That exposed hand is going to be a huge distraction. I get the face thing, as actors generally want face time which is why Stallone barely wore the Judge Dredd helmet, who never takes the mask off at all in comics, but a hand? Is Joel Kinnaman a hand model of some sort? I guess it's kind of an Easter Egg reference to original Robocop having one arm not shotgun blasted into paste, but even he had a roboarmored hand. It wasnt exposed. In fact I think it was the one with the Wolverine claw. I'm at a loss for explanation. Not even a metal glove?

That might be the only thoughts I have towards the movie. Maybe worth a download. Maybe.

Robocop kills guard just doing his job, THEN gives a warning to the rest of them. Smiley: oyvey

Also that scene is the exact reason why they gave Metal Gear Rex an anti-infantry laser.

I think he just tazed him, bro.

I guess I'll watch it at some point, though I don't have very high expectations at all. Then again, I found the Total Recall remake to be an OK action movie so maybe if I pretend this isn't Robocop the same way I pretended that wasn't TR, maybe I'll enjoy it.

The hand is getting to me too. Just weird that they would leave that one part of him. Even if it's a throw back to the arm and hand that didn't get shot gunned off, they removed it anyway in the first movie. Only reason that makes any sense would be to give him a sense of touch but that is still weak since prosthetic hands now are getting to the point were they can achieve something that is close.

Yeah, it makes no sense at all for that hand to be exposed. Considering his torso is mostly robotic, I'd be very, very worried about my gripping tool (hand) being organic. One wrong grip and he'll rip his hand to shreds if not off entirely, and then they'll have to replace it, anyway.

Looks pretty awful actually. I might watch it I see it on cable some night, but I'll have to be really bored. Of course, I had that same attitude towards Dredd, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Dredd was pretty good compared to the first one, no far out there plot and it was nice and simple. One of the better reboots we had in a while but the first was so bad that meh couldn't do really do much worse.
