Trailer for the next installment in the Terminator franchise.
It's been a while since I watched the movies but I remember thinking after the third one how they really messed up the story. Then Terminator: Salvation came along and I'm pretty sure it made it worse. And now this new one...

Oh well, many explosions and stuff. Will watch it anyway.

At least the T-1000 seems to make a comeback.

Trailer for those too lazy to click on a link:

I'm not sure a Terminator reboot is a good idea. The second movie pretty much nailed it. They should have just stopped there.

Bad spelling does not make you cool. Never has, never will.

Now that that's out of the way, WTF is this supposed to be? Is it a reboot? A reimagining of T2? Does continuity matter or am I supposed to be geeking out over the T-1000 so much that I don't care?

Agreed on T2 btw. It was amazing but the series should have ended there.

There are elements/scenes of the first two movies (albeit altered) in the trailer. Maybe just some kind of 'stuff happens in a familiar way but different because MOAR timetravel'.

A bit like the Star Trek reboot but less reboot-y and without throwing everything out of the window. Don't know why they thought this to be a great concept.

Actually, I really liked Terminator 3. The absence of the deus ex machina for once was a refreshing departure from the usual Hollywood fare.

Somehow the word "Genisys" fills me with a bloodrage and illiteracy.

I have never met other humans who enjoyed Terminator 3. I... I almost feel like I belong.

Needs more Matt Smith in the trailer. I'm fine with this "reboot", it has Arnold in it.
