Newish player seeking LSFollow

I started playing over a year ago, then took a break, and have since returned to FFXI. I'm worried it's too late to get back into the game, since my highest job is 40. I'd like to join a friendly/helpful LS for some community interaction/advice, since I still know very little about the game. Thanks much!
