Hey there, I am a old player who is coming back from good ol' Caitsith. I might as well list what I last remember playing, so you know:

Last big thing I dabbled in, was the old Imp farming in ToAU. The level cap then was 75. There was none of this new stuff that is now around, and I honestly feel overwhelmed. I had a 75 BLM, MNK, and WHM, and unfortunatly, I cannot remember the password to that account, so until good old Square-Enix contacts me with info how to get that back, I am stuck re-leveling. I am currently a 13 MNK. I've noticed the XP you get off EP and DC mobs are much higher, but I hear people talking about all this new "XP burn" stuff.

Basically, I am looking for the following, if possible:

A linkshell, that is friendly and can form some friendships with.
Some insight on whats changed, and maybe some tips.
Fun conversation.

For the first and third things, you should join my linkshell: cynosure-online.com/forums (Meanwhile, you can try to find me online (Grommet), but RL is kicking my *** lately so the forums are a better bet.)

For "what's changed," there's so much to tell, too much for a forum reply. You'll learn as you go. And my linkshell has TONS of people like you who retired at 75 and are now coming back. It's roughly half of our fairly large, helpful social (-but-we-DO-stuff) shell.
