Hi! I started playing FFXI a few days ago and am interested in joining and growing with a Linkshell. My character name is Sanrist and my POL is GlamskinJoe, if I am not playing. I'm currently playing as a Red Mage and am having so much fun, but sometimes it gets a bit boring without anyone else to party with.
Hey Sanrist! You should check out my shell, Cynosure (at cynosure-online.com/forums, where you can register and, after anti-bot approval, post). No one stays a newbie for long with us. Full of helpful and friendly people who remember what being new was like!
I'm Grommet, and if I am not online, you can /sea all [name] for my sackholders to get a linkpearl. (Just explain that Grommet said on Alla that it was ok.) They are Sairsha, Sturg, Faithfulopossum, Whoohoo and Shadowmonkey.

Ok, thank you so much! I actually read about the Cynosure linkshell earlier from someone that previously posted and am interested. I'm currently playing under trial but plan to purchase the game, so when I do I will definitely send a /tell in-game. I'm so excited.!

I don't mean to invite myself but I've also been looking for a linkshell for new/returning players. I played FFXI years ago and I only made it to lvl 40 before I stopped because I didn't have enough free time on my hand... I recently reinstalled it to give it another go because I really loved it :).
My character online is Juicyjay so if you still have vacant spot for a new adventurer, I'll be more than pleased to be part of your linkshell :)

Indeed, I love meeting new people and helping them, more than I enjoy the lengthier and more "workmanlike" tasks that long-time players typically find themselves doing.
And most of the shell is returning-after-retirement players like you. Plenty of good company!

I look forward to it too! Again, I am at pains to explain/ apologize for my minimal presence this time of year ... but I should be on Friday night and a fair amount on this weekend. :)
