I'm not positive, but I think you have a couple months before character data is deleted permanently.

ps. FFXI on a computer with a decent video card is beautiful.

Ure character information is not saved on your ps2 of pc. Everyones data is saved on SE servers. You have a 3 month (90days) window to leave your account inactive before they delete it off the server.

You don't know the beauty of ffxi til you play it on pc.

Well any game that is on both ps2 and pc for that matter. But some games are funner to play on the tv on the couch anyway but ffxi isn't one of them :P

if FFXI wasn't meant to be played while sitting on the couch (Or in my case, on the bed since that's where my TV is) then they would not have made a PS2 version... Also... the PS2 version apparently doesn't have as many updates... ^_^

Not as many updates ? is that a good thing ? One thing you should know Tef, is that all your macros and things of that nature will be gone because they are saved on your PC/Memory card. I have to tell you I have a radeon x800 (I think) video card and Final Fantasy is beautiful, I run it at max res with all the bells and whistles and its great.
