Hmmm, I wonder if this means we can exchange merit points for spells, like conquest points for items.

So, does that mean that a PLD can have Provoke "unlocked" so he/she can sub NIN?

Or a RNG can have Utsusemi "unlocked" and sub WAR?

"OH SHI-" is the word to say! We'll have to wait and see. Might have to have that ability maxed out though.

Ooooh, a DRK/WAR with SATA "unlocked". Nasty! That's presuming that it all works that way.

I think I see how it works, you just get buy new spells and abilities with Merits. I thought you could max one out and use it for any job. That would be pretty broken though. Time to stock up on Merits.

im wondering if the spells will be the higher tiered ones that monsters use i.e stone 5 or stonega 4. that would be pretty rockin. if people are allowed to unlock things like that im thinking that might be the key to defeating mobs like Absolute Vitrue >.>

I beter get "Refresh II" and another job ability.

I personally would like to see access to Meteor and Ultima, but seeing as it will probably take me another 6-8 months to get to 75, I'm not too worried about it right now.

I thought you quit THF?
