During last year's Vanafest, former producer Hiromichi Tanaka unveiled a preview of a brand new user interface for Final Fantasy XI, featuring a variety of reworked menus as well as movable and repositionable UI elements. Today, as a follow up to this unveiling, a detailed look at this updated UI has been released, giving us our first real looks at what we can expect. A complete revamp to all menus, chat logs, in-game compass, status bars and icons, and more are in the works, and may be ready for an appearance in the near future!
