Monstrosity Additions and Adjustments

 Can't get enough Monstrosity action? Wish you could take down some of your most hated creatures as an Orobon or a Crab? That wait will soon be over. In the upcoming February version update, a new Monstrosity family, Aquans, will be introduced, bringing along a host of new monster Instincts to be implemented! For those that prefer to battle opposing players rather than just taking it to wild monsters, the Infamy and prestige system has been adjusted.

[dev1182] Monstrosity Additions and Adjustments

  • Monstrosity will undergo the following additions and adjustments.
    • New instincts will be introduced.
    • New monster families will be introduced.
    • Infamy and prestige loss will now be governed by the rules outlined below.
      Pre-adjustment   Post-adjustment
      30% of points possessed, where
      10% dissipates into the aether and 20% is lost to your opponent
      Up to 30% of points possessed, where either:
      10% dissipates into the aether in addition to twice the number of your opponent's points
      10% dissipates into the aether and 20% is lost to your opponent, whichever is smallest
    * The introduction of additional areas to Monstrosity will regrettably be postponed until a later version update.
