Only city better then SF for a event is Las Vegas.

After you can have fun gaming, good food, sight seeing, party entertainment or since SF I am sure they have things for the FREAKY freaks too.

Me personally I fall into the catagory of food+nightclubs unless my girl is there then it is sight-seeing+food.

Party!

Ooo. This sounds like fun, I hope I'm not gonna be busy that day. If I can go, I'm gonna wear my RDM outfit, it's been sitting in my closet collecting dust... ;_;

I would like to see them, once, sometime make it in Miami or somewhere southeast so I can go.

If I were able I'd go as something... prolly something evil. Wonder if there would have been some1 dressed up as a Mithra there, too bad I'll never find out.

Just wish they could make it close to home, my home that is.

Nice. That place is pretty cool. A bit too trendy for my taste though. Will I be able to log onto Playonline??
Metreon.. O_o

Since I live near the Bay Area, I've been to the Sony Metreon a lot of times.

To sum it up, the first floor has lots of Sony-related shops (i.e. games, tvs, etc). The tightest place to go to at the first floor is the games section. They have over 20+ screens near the front counter with PS2s connected. They also have TVs on columns with PS2s as well. Heck, I bought my FFXI + HDD from there.

Also on the first floor, they have some food places. From Chinese to Mexican, they have all sorts of food. It's pretty tight if you ask me.

On the 2nd floor, (if I recall) they have a Games Workshop place. So, if you play Warhammer 40k, then you definitely have to go there. They also have a huge arcade place, and have this game called Hyperbowl (pretty much, you role a big bowling ball in a level; one level is Frisco itself =P)

And on the last level, they got other cool stuff like a movie theater. They have the best sound quality stuff when I went there.

Pretty much, I am summing up the Metreon for people who never went there. If you get a chance to go to Frisco, definitely check out the Metreon. You will not be dissapointed.

P.S. I probably will go to that event >.>. But just as myself =P

I'm not against the location, but a little bit of an advanced warning would have done a lot of good. The sooner you get to the actual flight date, the more expensive the ticket is. Sounds like SE figured they needed to do "something" and threw it together really quick. Which is why it's in SF, close to their main office.
Bah

Thanks a lot Square. How about doing something somewhere else than CA so other people can check it out? Nah, it's all good. I'm doing something else anyway.

This may sound stupid, but the idea of a plush moogle sounds more interesting than the party.

Still need some duct tape and glass eyes to make the costume work.
