HNMs for JPs
# Nov 11 2004 at 10:25 AM Rating: Decent
For those servers who are having maintenance at 0:00-1:00 PST, it means no HNMs for you. Well, at least for NA HNM LSs who actually go to sleep, lol.

I just hope HNMs spawn early so that it gets pushed back to NA primetime.
its only one hour

Waiting for your server does stink, but I'm extremely happy that they are back on a normal Maintenance Schedule of once per month again. :)
Incorrect title

As has already been stated Hades and Remora aren't having maintenance eventhough it says "All world maintenance".

#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 01 2004 at 12:26 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Please present times to universal audiences in GMT, PST means nothing to the majority of the world, thank you. (:

While I understand that this is a global game, it's important to understand that this is primarily an NA site. We have posters here from all around the world, but the overwhelming majority of them are from US/Canada. Moreover, the English speaking support of the game comes from the west coast of the US, so the times they offer are relative to their time.

PST = Pacific Standard Time...ie, the relative time on the west coast of Canada and the United States.

As the majority of people who use this site are from Canada or the US, asking that the time be listed in another format is likely to be...well...not effective.

More specifically, this information is directly from the Playonline website, and they list it as PST, not GMT.

For anyone wanting to know the GMT times, head to playonline.com then choose Europe. In the news there, they use GMT.

Also if you go to the clock on windows xp and click the time zone tab, it will tell you the GMT time for each zone. PST=GMT-8

just because they are new doesn't mean they don't need maintenance. Ragnarok isn't new and I don't see it on there either...

Ragnarok, Pandemonium, and Garuda already had maintenance on October 28th.

As for Hades and Remora... since they are newer servers, I don't think they need to be relocated... which is what is being done during this maintenance.

I was wondering why I didn't see Garuda on that list. Yay! Now I don't have to worry about what day it'll be down.

So why call it "All Worlds Maintenance" then? Why not call it "Partial Worlds Maintenance"?

hi i do not really get the relative time stuff..

2004 Nov.22 0:00 - 1:00 PST
Affected Worlds: Cerberus, Kujata, Bismarck

im currently on Kujata server, what does 0:00 - 1:00 PST mean? does that mean the maintenance will be over at 1:00 my time or their time? ( i live in US)
RE: Remora?
# Nov 01 2004 at 4:12 PM Rating: Decent
It is exactly as it says.. "0:00 (12am) to 1:00 (1am) PST. Or in my time which is CST (2:00 - 3:00). I'm on Cerberus server so I'm down the same time you are but I'll be long asleep.^^ It seems this time they are taking US customers in consideration and scheduling the downtime in a non-peek time. I hate the 12 noon to 8pm updates, that's BS for US paying customers.

It's only one hour in the middle of the night and everyone seems to be lost in life if the server goes down. Have a backup plan like take a shower, you're smelling kinda ripe. hehehehehehe

12:00-20:00 is BS?

Most of that time the people will be at work or school. It's the Euro players that lose an evening playing FF XI (20:00-04:00).
