	Ok I thought i read some where there max lvl of fortification can be raised. Now I'm looking for the info and cant find it.

	Retrace means you're sending people to the past. If you've not gotten the expansion then your character doesn't know he can visit the past or the whole time travelling angle going on. It's not that absurd an idea, really.
