Or, you can copy&paste the following example into the appropriate rank range, and edit the information to fit your camp. Click the "Edit" tab above, copy the following example into your clipboard (Ctrl+C), and paste (Ctrl+V) into the rank range. Then, just change the text around with the information you're trying to add. Remember to add two spaces between camp entries.

Make a big mistake and freaking out during the editing process? No worries! Just don't click on "Save Changes" and the page will not be edited. If you've made and saved a mistake and are unsure how to fix it, please PM a ZAM FFXIV admin, and we will help you out.

One final note. The ZAM Database uses potentially multiple data files sometimes for a single mobs name. For example, if you searched for Goblin Thug, you will see 5 listings. The first 4 listings are of the same data file (same URL), and list the monster in 4 zones. The 5th listing is a separate data file (different URL) and lists the monster in a separate zone, usually with a different level range than the first 4 listings. Please be sure to point your clickies to the right monster!

Please adhere to the following format when adding your camp!

  • Camp Location: Thanalan (10,20)
  • Target Monster(s): Fachan
  • Ideal Party Size: 4
  • Notes: Watch out for aggro Dwarf Diremite near this camp! Not only are these good SP, they also drop Ahriman Wing which sell for a good price.

Ranks 1-4

Ranks 5-9

Ranks 10-14

  • Camp Location: Thanalan (31,14)
  • Target Monster(s): Lead Coblyn
  • Ideal Party Size: 2
  • Notes: Only one person needs to be able to cure and is easily a solo area as well. Make sure to run the entire perimeter around Scorpion Keep. Good physical and rank exp!

Ranks 15-19

  • Camp Location: La Noscea (42,17)
  • Target Monster(s): Bloodshore Bell
  • Ideal Party Size: 2
  • Notes: One DD/One Healer is best combination. There are enough spawns that a party of 2 can fight indefinitely. Area includes both the large island, and small island extending further east from it. This area can be accessed from the tunnel at (39,18)

Ranks 20-24

  • Camp Location: Nanawa Mines (6,4)
  • Target Monster(s): Cellar Puk
  • Ideal Party Size: 2-3
  • Notes: One Healer is needed! You can evade their Backflip by moving behind them. Be careful sometimes Will-o'-the Wykes spawn around the puks.

  • Camp Location: Coerthas (31,19)
  • Target Monster(s): Hippocerf
  • Ideal Party Size: 4-7
  • Notes: Plenty of these mobs can be found west of Camp Dragonhead. Usual party setup: Healer/Tank/DDs. Party will need to roam quite a bit.

  • Camp Location: Copperbell Mines (?,?)
  • Target Monster(s): Antling Digger
  • Ideal Party Size: 4-7
  • Notes: Can be found in the tunnel just northeast of the Aetherial Gate.

Ranks 25-30

Ranks 31-34

Ranks 35-39

  • Camp Location: Mistbeard Cove (6,6)
  • Target Monster(s): Bigmouth Orobon
  • Ideal Party Size: 1
  • Notes: Good solo camp right at Rank 35. These monsters come up as Even Match, and there are a lot of them to farm. Can drop Blue Coral. Camp is right next to the Gate.

  • Camp Location: Thanalan (47,40); (50,39); (44, 42)
  • Target Monster(s): Quartz Doblyn
  • Ideal Party Size: 1
  • Notes: Good solo camp right at Rank 36+. Ideal camp for mages. Very low hp, which makes it easy to defeat even the ones shown as tough. Tip: try to defeat it before they do their tp skill, which causes considerably loss of hp. Quartz Doblyn can be found both east and northwest of Broken Water

  • Camp Location: The Black Shroud (23,16)
  • Target Monster(s): Black Eft
  • Ideal Party Size: 2-3
  • Notes: Good duo camp for around rank 37. Plenty of monsters to farm. Two rank 37s were getting upwards of 450 SP per kill. Careful of the Ixali Fencer which randomly pops here. Healing is required for these efts.

  • Camp Location: The Black Shroud (23,15)
  • Target Monster(s): Ixali Fencer
  • Ideal Party Size: 1-2
  • Notes: Good solo camp at 37, mobs are evasive with evasion up tp moves though. Low hp for an aggressive type mob. Duo could clear all mobs for fast sp or in between black efts.

Ranks 40-44

  • Camp Location: Coerthas (31,26)
  • Target Monster(s): Grass Raptor
  • Ideal Party Size: 4-8
  • Notes: One Healer & Tank is needed! Do NOT attack from behind, "Scythe Tail" is a flail type ability that does severe damage. Keep DD's to the side to avoid being Flame Breathed on. There are plenty of raptors, but need to roam and create your own pattern to constantly kill with little to no downtime. (If Boulder Downs is taken, can also try "Weeping Vale" north of Camp Glory).

Ranks 45-49

  • Camp Location: Coerthas (35,33)
  • Target Monster(s): Grass Raptor
  • Ideal Party Size: 4-8
  • Notes: One Healer & Tank is needed! Do NOT attack from behind, "Scythe Tail" is a flail type ability that does severe damage. Keep DD's to the side to avoid being Flame Breathed on. There are plenty of raptors, but need to roam and create your own pattern to constantly kill with little to no downtime. (Ever Lakes Raptors are 5 ranks higher than Boulder Downs).
