EverQuest
Allakhazam has always relied on user-generated content; we are now taking it one step further. With the advent of the wikibase, you can now instantly correct and clarify information on Allakhazam's. The bestiary has been wikified, quests are soon to be wikified, and in the coming days and months we will be creating a general wiki covering all things EQ.
The wiki model should facilitate information sharing, and allow faster addition of accurate information to Allakhazam. With the bestiary fields now editable, please feel free to add any information you feel could be useful to individual mobs. This includes of course the basic stuff; spawn locations, info on any special ability a mob has, and so on, but other information is welcome as well! We'd also like to eventually have raid mobs in the bestiary show at least basic info about the encounter, preferably more detailed strategies, as seen already with Ture.
When contributing to the new wikibase, please keep our Guidelines in mind. Within those guidelines, we encourage you to be bold. If you're new to wiki-editing and would like to toy around some and figure out how things work, please use the sandbox. A list of known issues with the wikibase as well as upcoming projects will soon be found at To Do.
The wiki software is custom, so it's still a bit of a work in progress; there is currently not a search function, so if you create a new article, please add it to [[Category:EverQuest]] -- otherwise, it will be orphaned. Before creating an article, please look around to make sure it hasn't been previously started. If it hasn't already been started, you can start a new article simply by going to http://everquest.allakhazam.com/wiki/EQ:new article name here A brief guide on how to cite your sources can be found here.
