just saying thf rocks with SATA and thf is a very good investment for farming!
Everyone should have this

This should be an inherent trait to all inhabitants of Vana'diel at level 1. As things stand there's almost never a point in trying to run away from a mob unless you're really close to a zone spawn or something.

Are you saying there's almost never a point in running because you will most probably die? Or are you saying that there's no point in running at lower levels because in the time you spent running you could have made back the experience by quickly going to home point and returning to battle?

I've found that even if the zone is far away you can suceed at low levels running. A good technique is to catch the mob behind a rock or something to slow it down. It seems that the way it follows you is similar to /follow comand, in which you find yourself sometimes caught up behind something and have to free yourself.

I've also found that mobs lag behind a bit if you go off a ledge. With these techniques I can usually outrun anything with proper forsight.

(and the shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line)

/ja "Steal" <t>

best THF macro i have made :) just stand behind a goblin, execute and run to a zone line

i exexuted this in yhoator jungle and the goblin did not get a chance to hit me. by the time he noticed i stole a silver beastcoin i was gone it was amazing

if u exclude the perfect dodge part u can do this every five minuets

ummm... what would be the point in wasting perfect dodge if your just going to run to the zone almost instantly after using it if ur not aggroed. in my opinion, any1 using the macro is retarded.
faster

Probably as fast as a galka or a tarutaru or an elvaan or a hume.

I noticed that if you're in the middle of flee and you change areas, flee wears off.

Sometimes i hit the wrong macro in battle and it casts flee, and i don't know if it's just me but i seem to attack faster, there is a noticable difference, does anyone else find this?

damn i love flee, and the timer isnt too bad when in a party, but it seems like forever when you are on foot and waiting for the timer to reset, but that's beside the point, it has saved saved me since i got it, from from smithys near kazham, to wingrats and citadel bats in garlaige, and when things get real bad i voke then flee to zone, to give everyone a chance, and a party will appreciate that. and even when farming, malboro EP, my ***.

I think it's about the same. I was on my chocobo trying to out run a thief using flee. Ok it seems about the same

this skill is widely used to out-run any monster issues by running 2x the normal speed. this ability does make you run faster than a chocobo (i know, ive tried). this is an awesome ability used for NM hunting

It doesn't stack with Mazurka

As for stacking with NIN AF boots effect or the Strider boots, I don't know. I know from personal experiences that it doesn't stack with Mazurka, however.
downtime

does anyone think the downtime should be less for this skill or is it just right.

The ability is so you can run away from battle faster/more efficiently, not travel long distances more quickly. This is NOT SOW from EQ. If you want faster travel time, get a chocobo or an airship.
