Is there any knowledge base yet that can tell us if the Elemental staves make a difference in MP drained? I just returned to the game to find we had such an amazing ability. I'm not 50 yet so I cannot try it out myself. Any info would help! Thanks!

| Description: | Drains MP from your summoned spirit. |
The amount recovered from this ability varies with the summoner's summoning magic skill (in addition to any gear that adds to the skill), weather of the area, and the day of the week. Optimal results seem to be obtained with capped summoning skill and matching the summoned spirit with the elemental day and/or weather present in zone.
* Using a spirit that is opposite to the day/weather will incur a small penalty to the amount of MP obtained.
* Using a spirit that is the same as the weather when it is double weather gives more MP then when it is single weather.
* (Summoning Skill - 50) x (Bonus%) = MP restored.
o 1.10 for matching day or weather,
o 1.20 for matching day and weather,
o 1.25 for matching double weather, and
o 1.35 for matching day and double weather.
o Example: Thunder spirit on thunder day with thunder weather and 310 summoning skill: (310 - 50) x (1.2) = 312MP.

Not 50 yet so I was wondering how much MP you can get from spirit and if it varies based on skill, spirit type, Day, weather, etc.
Once I hit 50 I'll definitely be testing it.

i just got to 50 the other day and haven't gotten to try it out yet but my brother says he saw a high lvl smn drain like 300 or so mp from his/her spirit. i dont know if this is true or not but i'll post again when i get a chance to test.
