Description

A twisting, living maze filled with undead spirits has kept many adventurers from walking the depths of the Sacrarium. This dark dungeon, which is said to be connected to the Phomiuna Aqueducts, is part of the ancient Tavnazian Cathedral. Those who survive to see the inner sanctum of Sacrarium will find wondering parties of fomors, the lost spirits of those who died in the Crystal War. The innermost chamber of the Sacrarium is said to hold a dark relic from ages past.

Points of Interest

  • Adventurers are capped at level 50 in this zone.
  • Fomors drop subligar which can be traded for level-50 job-specific armor by completing the quest Brygid the Stylist Returns.
  • Watch out for true-sight Stegotaur and Teratotaur mobs that lurk in enclaves and within the zone.
  • The route through the maze into Sacrarium changes every two game days.
  • To get a Swift Belt, trade a Fomor Codex to the stale drafts at the following locations to spawn the respective NMs: Balor at F-5; Luaith at G-5; Lobais at H-5; Caithleann at F-11; and Indich at G-11.

Map

The Map of Sacrarium can be found by completing the quest Paradise, Salvation, and Maps.

more annoying than phomiuna aqueducts

Well, after running around in here last night, I can safely say that it's even more annoying than the Aqueducts. Not much room for maneuver, and the fomor don't like to drop, well, anything. We got the first part of 4-3 done in here and bailed to kill off some orcs to reset fomor hate. Keremet is really easy if you handle him right, but sneaking around killing all those fomor and avoiding taurus in tight corridors is just a pain.

Gonna go back to finish the mission in a few days. With zero hate, it should be significantly less annoying. :)

after the Xmas update, this place seems to have gotten harder to navigate >_<

1.Before, it was just two stego (true-sight) guarding one branch of the entrance to the maze part.
Now, one appears at the south fork, near the Gazer and bats..

2. There are now Teratotaur (harder version of above mob) wandering about in and after the maze. Saw one lurking in the maze, and one at each of the junctions where the fomors are.

Guess SE can't let us have freebie exp scrolls so easy (i'm referrrrring to the quest "Secrets of Oven Lost", which is repeatable once every week, after monday midnight japan standard time)

The maze walls in the 6 room area (H8-J8 & H9-J9) change at midnight (game time). There are only 4 different configurations.

There are two entrances to the maze area. One from the North and one from the West. As it turns out the North entrance is guarded by (at least) a Steg. However, depending on the day, the North entrance can lead to a dead end. So, if you don't want to fight the Steg, you can wait a game day and get to the 2nd map via the West entrance to the maze.

On Lightsday, Iceday, Watersday, and Fireday, the West entrance leads to a dead end and you have to enter through the North entrance.

On Darksday, Earthday, Windsday, and Thundersday, the North entrance leads to a dead end and you have to enter through the West entrance.

So, if you go on the 2nd set of days, you can avoid fighting the Stegs and just sneak your way to the 2nd map.

Lightsday and Watersday are the same.
Darksday and Windsday are the same.
Iceday and Fireday are the same.
Earthday and Thundersday are the same.

Diagrams of the Mazes can be found on the Kool-aid site.

So, I spent some time running around here for a quest.. while I was running around I thought I would note down where which fomor's were in this map. This is what I noticed. I'm not sure if these jobs are always there since I didn't kill any while I was there. I'm assuming that if you did kill one, the same job would repop later.

In Room by F6: 2xDrg, 2xSam, 2xRng

In hall in front of Room by F6: Nin, Bst

In Room by G6: 2xRng, 2xThf, 2xWar

In hall in front of Room by G6: Rng, Drk

In Room by H6: 2xSmn, 2xMnk, 2xBlm

In hall in front of room by H6: Pld, Rng, Brd, Blm

In the connecting hallway between the South rooms and the North rooms: Drk & Rdm; Brd, Drk, & Blm; Drg & War; Rng & Sam

In Room by F11: 2xNin, 2xRdm, 2xDrk

In hall in front of room by F11: Rdm, Drk, Mnk

In Room by G11: Pld, 2xBst, 2xBrd

In hall in front of room by G11: Smn, Drk

In Room by H11: Blm, Rdm, Rng, Drk, Nin, Sam, Mnk

In hall in front of room by H11: War, 2xThf, 2xRng

I'm not sure about which ones were in parties with others, some of the ones roaming around the halls looks like they are singles. There was definitely 2 parites in the connecting hall (between south and north).

Another thing to watch out for is that there is a 1-way "drop" in the hallway between the room by G6 and F6. i.e. you can travel from G6 to F6, but not the other way around. You will need to run through the maze to get around.

Hope this helps people who are trying to farm Subligar...

ok i can confirm that the JSE subligars that you need for jse body pieces are dropped here. Someone had also said they had a fairly easy time with the mobs here in a level 69 party, so it could be hard pre 60. All you have to do is kill mobs here and then get your subligar.

This area should be classified as a Dungeon, not Outdoor. This is where you go for Chapter 4-3.

Weird, the Instruction Manual with COP states this is connected to the Aqueducts....
Wonder what this area is........anyone acidentally stumbled upon it? or is it locked out like 60% of the other areas that we can't access yet.
