How it REALLY works

No no no! You see, when you take the integral of the amount of HP sustained on firesday, you will realize that you get e to the x. Everyone knows that the derivative of e to the x is e to the x plus the derivative of the x. Now, because this goes on your finger, you have to use the mean value theorem. This will give you -6, so you are now at your homepoint. Glad I could clear things up.

Remember to love.

The derivative of the exponential function is the exponential function TIMES the derivative of x.

Crap! You're right! T_T You get a rate up!

Æ’(x)=e^x
Æ’'(x)=e^x (1) <----that 1 is the derivative of x.

I'm sorry, but I have to tell you you're obviously not "even remotely good at math" Even with the -15%HP more +HP gear = more HP... period. Whatever HP you have you get -15% so if you have 900HP and you wear the ring u now have 765HP. If you have +100HP gear your base HP becomes 1000HP so with the ring you now have 850HP. 850HP > 765HP, therefore learn some simple arithmetic before making stupid posts.

yeh your right.. but i can see where he/shes coming from, because the amount of hp lost is directly proportional to the maximum amount of hp you have gained.. so you do lose more hp in the sense that, when you have 900hp you only lose 135hp, but if u have 1k hp u lose 150hp

150>135

but the end result is that the amount your hp has increased by 100hp and in doing so has lost an 15hp, hence 150 - 135 = 15

which gives an overall increase in hp of 85 (850 - 765 = 85)

so yes.. more hp gear will make u lose more hp
but no.. the amount given by the hp gear is greater than the % taken off

now my head hurts :'( why did i reply to a month old post at 3:09 am..

and 1 more thing, why leave smartass comments such as "therefore learn some simple arithmetic before making stupid posts." all it does it hurt the person u replied 2 and make ppl like me angry :'(

I think that was because of the comment of the original poster that if you knew basic math you could tell you'd have less hp.

Does anyone even know if the -15% comes off of your base HP or your adjusted HP, It seems that all similiar items that are percentile based take from your base stat not your adjusted stat. Thus Hp+ gear could make curb the loss, unless i am wrong....
