I don't know why but being from Windy I feel a traitor using something from the other towns
not goldsmithing.

hmm i got some dude to make me this sword.....then realised that i could buy it for 20k and the centurion sword was worth 30k so i lost out

but back to the sword i love it..i dont undertsand the mp and hp tho..i was under beastmans control area and i didnt get it anyone explain this?

and no why the sword rules:(36war18whm)
for this we must take the **** of all mobs the goblin leecher
usually the goblin leecher makes me punch the wall as he casts cure 3 on himself and i must start again

so here let me set the scene..pashow marshlands..i get aggrod im surrounded my gobs that may link and this happens
sharhawk hit goblin leecher for 18 points of damage
(i shout in delight)
goblin leecher starts casting cureIII on goblin leecher
(i start to abuse myself)
sharhawk hits goblin leecher for 15 pints of damage
goblin leechers casting is interupted
(i almost cream myself with delight)(yes the delay is fantastic one handed swords rule)
golbin leecher is defeated by shardhawk
you fine a scroll of protecta and a beastmans seal on goblin leecher (i cream myself again)

a good days farming thanks to the sword

blacksmithing

This item is crafted using Smithing, not Goldsmithing. I have 54 smithing and about 10 goldsmithing and I did this synth (Fire & Centurion + Mythril Ingot) with no problem.
Wrong recipe?

The cermet + fire upgrade recipe is wrong. I'm alchemy 69 with paid support and it says this is not a valid combo.
Not what i want to see when i am saving for Phalanx and try to use a GP crystal. PLEASE, don't "assume" patterns and submit as fact if you have not tested. Since it has same cap and pattern as the Cent's armor pieces that is likely what happened here for the alchemy recipe.

This Item and the Bastokian dagger and shield (targe) are all smithing recepies. I tried as a 54 goldsmith and failed 4 out of 4 times 3 times even with advanced synth support and shades. then I realized my smithing was level 34 so I went and got smithing support.

I failed but my smithing rose .02

I made war picks until 38 and tried again 2 of 4 successes and 3 of 4 successes with the Bastokian dagger.

Not sure how to go about updating this info tho

The synthesis level requirement is wrong. I am a 46 goldsmith and I just attempted this and got the "This synthesis is beyong your current skill level." message. Please find out the correct level and change it. Thanks.
New skill level required?

They must have changed these a bit because my goldsmithing is 41 and it wont let me attempt the combination.

A fire crystal with a mythril ingot and a centurions sword, according to FFXI Mysterytour, and some unspecified level of goldsmithing skill, which I'd guess to be in the 30-50 range.

Well I just tried it with 39 Gsmithing. It did let me attempt it, which is a good thing, but I failed and lost both Mithril Ingot and the Sword. Ouch :o[

It is possible this was a fluke fail... but I'd say it isn't worth trying unless you are very high level in Gsmithing, and possible some support skills,

Conquest Points used to get this or is it crafted, bought?

Its a Conquest point upgrade. See the White ring around the Grey box background, that means its a +1 craft or an upgrade. In this case its the centurion sword. I'm not exactally sure how to do upgrades though. ;-; I am however pretty sure that you can upgrade almost every conquest Item
