Quest is called "Ducal Hospitality" Taillegeas is starting NPC. Says a guest of his wants strange items and gives u a list. Depending on what u bring from list and how many at a time u can get up to 4k gil per trip. Quest is repeatable. Have Fun!!
i just got this thing while bored and soloing w/ rdm41/nin20. Dropped from an Ochu. Some ppl told me that the quest might b expensive. And I don't have CoP 3-2 done so...I'm just gonna sell it to npc i think. Gives around 500 gil to npc merchant.

this item dropped off the 2nd ochu i killed. if someone knows what quest this is used for please send me a message.
If you're looking for this Item I think its easiest to get it from Ochus in Rolanberry. I've never seen a clipper in Pashow that I can recall.
I sub'd 16THF with my 60BST and got about 3 of them in an hour. TH1 would defnately benefit you.
You need to complete CoP 3-2 first. Then you go to the dining hall in ru'lude gardens and talk to an NPC there to get the quest.

Could not find Clippers in Pashhow Marshlands, only Snippers. Killed about 100 Clippers in Korroloka Tunnel, no drop. Got it from about the 20th Ochu in Rolanberry Fields.

I got 1 of these in Rolanberry Fields. I am pretty sure these are used in a quest that gives you a Potion Belt/Ether Belt/Water Belt.

Sounds like u need to be on chapter 3 of promathia missions before u can start this quest. I'll just sell them for gil now cuz seems very easy to get anyway.

most items that are EX can be sold to an NPC for gil, yes we know you cant sell or trade them to other players.

Stop bickering and just try it. I usually sell mine at the "Merry Minstral tavern" (sp?) for around 500 gil.

I am a hero everywere and tried those npc's also but got no quest by trading and talking with them and i try and do all the quest i can get my hands on.

I also found this on a worker crawler in crawlers nest as a lvl 35 blm.
I have COP and mid to upper lvl fame in jeuno i will try trading it after the maintainance to see what happens
I will come back to post what happens after that

I think it actually means you talk to Taillegeas, who is an NPC in the Dining Hall.
From what I can make out, this sounds like a repeatable quest in which you trade certain items on demand for gil, but the quest requires you to have completed others beforehand. I recognise some of the items being new, like the chocobo bedding, the doll, and a few other items there which are basic like the turquoise rings, ear of millicorn.
could it be related to the nuymomo doll( dropped by Orcish Nightraiders in Batallia) and that diarie thing( dropped in SC by raptors type mob)?
maybe it's a quest similar to Genkai1....but the drop do seem a bit common...
could it also be like those Beastmen's seal and kindred's seal and usedfor some special BCNM?

I heard it is used for a quest that starts in Jeuno-Gardens. NPC some guy in the dining hall of the palace. I don't have very much Fame in Jeuno so if someone wants to try a get it that would be most helpful.

I have max fame in Jeuno and talked to each person in the Dining Hall with the Pochette in my inventory. That didn't work, so I tried to trade it to each of them. That also didn't work. It's posslble that there is a prerequisite quest that I haven't done, but I don't know what it would be. I don't have Chains of Promathia, so that could be the problem as well.

Obviously a quest item. A Jeuno quest no less.
Odds are, some idget lost this thing while out in the field and wants you to go get it back.
Or someone went out there, never to return, and this item is all that remains as proof that they even exsisted.
Question is, who gives the quest, and what are the pre-req's?

i dunno what they do..but they sell for like 500gil to NPC's
I get so many of these things while farming for malboro vines for hi-potions, I have no idea what they do. Anyone know? It's really bugging me! ; ;
