Can you obtain the Orcish Mail Scales by killing anything but Ding-Bats?

can you get these anywhere else besides the Ding-Bats?
Getting kind of annoyed. I've leveled twice while trying to get one of these and still haven't managed a drop.

Ding bats drop these anywhere in Ranperre's tomb. You don't have to be anywhere near the grave. Just look for Ding bats. It may take a while for some but I got lucky(found them on my 5th one).
What are these for?

I got this off dingbats while camping spook. Threw it away since I'm Bastokan.
These items are not sellable. They have absolutely no value aside from the Mission, as far as I can tell.

Actually, the name is correct. I am looking at a set on my other computer right now.

Check the date of the posts. These posts were made long before the January 24, 2005 update changed the name of the item.
How many bats do you have to kill to get this thing? I spent 2 full nights without getting anything but wings!

I just picked it up off of a goblin
what do u do with them if u already finished the mission before

Rare drop from Ding Bats in King Ranperre's Tomb. Like most bats, they spawn from sun down to sun up (18:00 to 6:00).
