Ok, I was traversing the Batallia Downs to San Doria route to get the Maws this weekend as 75BST andhad a 72 THF buddy with me. We came across these and I stated watch out they aggro. Well, it was night time and I walked around it without sneak or inviso, nothing happened. My buddy did the same, so we went to the lake to complete DNC quest (me) and proceeded to go San Doria. Well, as we went exploring I here this buzzing, Ladybug is chasing us (me) and one on him. We never encountered these before but it was like wtf NOW YOU AGGRO us? So I charm the one on me and have it attack the one on my buddy. We move a way and get aggro again so I sick my pet on Ladybug #3. Pet dies, charm #3 kill #2 and we are like that is weird how come they didnt aggro us when we zoned and danced around them, the only thing we came up with was nighttime. So can someone confirm my hypothesis that these only aggro during daytime?
Also, we went on killing spree on these in East Ronafure [S] and they didnt link or anything, I had one fly right by the one I was killing many times. They do have long range sight aggro so be careful I tested that in Jugner Forest[S].

Correct - They only aggro during the daytime.
Ladybugs confused the crap out of me, I've spent a few days soloing them at 51.
Sometimes they aggro, sometimes they don't. The day/night thing seems likely.
But the most frustrating thing is that they just randomly link sometimes and not other times.

Actually to a level 75 they are Easy Prey but if you kill one you receive hate from all of them . I suggest if you are hunting these kill away from all others and everytime you get aggro from the hate you get the mobs start to hit harder first one was only hitting me between 40-60 but next one was hitting me for around 80-90 the third one was doing over a 100
they agg sight. i know from experience ...one took away a good 90% of my hp in one hit. i think i might need to be just a LITTLE bit higher than level 31 before i decide to go "exploring" any more, unless i wanna spend more on powders than i already have.
If u are unprepared and u catch a link, you could me in for a tough fight. Try to keep them isolated.
