Vana'diel Bestiary: Ix'aern (DRK)  

Can be duo'd by skilled BLM and RDM. May still take hours, however, due to multiple reraises. Easily kited by RDM while BLM casts Tier IV nukes as it passes. Once Tier IV goes off, hate will be switched to BLM and they will kite while you try to gain hate as the RDM.

Takes about 45 min to kill duo. When it comes to reraises though, it can easily take hours. Luckily, when I duo'd, it only reraised once. No drop though :/

Once sheer animosity has been achieved while killing the "placeholders," whoever has the hate can pop it and the BLM Sleepga's everthing and zones while the RDM grabs Ix'Drk. Been a while since I've done it, so really can't comment any further on the strategy because I don't remember exactly which room we went to or how we ended up not dying lol.
