It lowers the weakness of the mob to that element but its dependant on your lvl and ninjitsu skill.

I have a question regarding “Elemental Weaknesses.” My ninja job is now at level 24, and I have mostly done Hyoton and Huton ninjitsu spells, and of course Utsusemi and Tonko. My question is do elemental weaknesses stack, as in if I cast Huton: Ichi on a Clipper, which (If I remember correctly) is already weak to ice, will it become more weakened to ice spells? I have battled many Clippers and Pugils (doesn’t everyone just love Qufim!?) and have had my Blm’s casting Blizzard with and without Huton: Ichi. As of yet I have not noticed an increase in damage under the effect of Huton: Ichi. Is this because I am not a high enough level to really affect the creatures weaknesses very much, or is it because it is already weak, and I cannot exploit that any further? Thank you very much for any advice you have. High level ninja advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not positive but I think it lowers your resistance to the specified element not the mobs.

Um... Look ^ Its says it lowers the resistance of an enemy. No the real questions, is can you stack the same spell over and over continuing to lower its resistance to the spell? Kinda like how boost stacks, just continuing to lower the mob ele def... Cause Im a 45RNG/22NIN and Im using ice arrows, If I spam this spell, I should in essence get +10 add effect each arrow.... This would be nice...

Also it says lowers its resitance. Meaning that you blizzard wouldn't do more dmg, but it just wouldn't do lower dmg. I.E one blizzard does 70dmg the next one does 35dmg. This spell should make that less likly to happen.

I don't know about that. Bard has the lower resistance songs and you can do more damage than you would without the debuff. EX: Thunder spell does about 80 damage. With dong in place, it gives ~100 damage. This was on Mandys in Kazham. I would assume that the blizzard spell will be a little more potent with this on the mob.
