So...where do you get this spell again?
# Nov 01 2005 at 7:16 PM Rating: Decent
Nobody answered this question yet and I am 1 lvl and 3k tnl to getting it. Not keen on spending 100k+ for this spell if it drops for free. I know in Cape Terrigan the Goblin Alchemists drop alot of higher lvl whm spells, infact I think I am set until about lvl 73 or so, aside from this one spell, with spells I lotted from these mobs.

Does anybody know where it comes from? How to all these people selling it...get it?

Cheers,
Sadok

click on the "Scroll: Reraise II" link in the description and it will take you to the scroll used to learn it...

there you will discover that it drops from a hellish weapon or something in Fey'in<tab>

best of luck :-p

just last week i was doing shouts while at lvl 59 in jueno, asking ppl if they had a scroll of reraise2 that i could trade them my holy shield(Cuz i was like 40k short at the time and was so close to lvl 60) with seems how they were both the same price (100k) on the AH. I then got invited into an exp party and at that particular moment there was only four of us so far, soi asked them if they had a scroll they was selling or wanting to sell that i could trade with, and they all said no. Well, for the life of me i cannot remember the guy's name, but he asked me how much the scroll was so i told him. He then came back and told me to trade with him, so i did. And there was a scroll of the reraise2 i was asking for. I asked him what he wanted for it, and said nothing, not even my shield in return so he could resell it. I thanked him so much for that spell. I kinda felt bad getting it from him probono, so i at least told him that if ever needed somethign PL'd that i would do that for him instead. Dude if i could remember your name i would be all set. But if you are reading this thanx A LOT, it was GREATLY appreciated.

I also like how noone actually answered this guy's question lol. He asked where does it drop from and all you guys were talkin about HP loss lol. He didn't want to know about that, he wanted to know what dropped it and where lol. Anyway i just thought it was quite interesting on how the question was never answered lol.

Can anyone help me with what drops this scroll?it has been at 40K for the longest time, now it's up to 100k in the space of a week, all motivated by one seller.

I would like to know where this spell drops from too. Because it is over 700k on the AH on my server. That is ABSOLUTELY rediculous considering that i could buy RERAISE III for lil over 77k from an NPC. RERAISE II is a lvl 75 spell and RERAISE II is a lvl 60 spell. Is soemthing wrong here people? What is this world comming to when a lvl 60 spell cost over 10x more then a lvl 75 spell, i mean come on. If anyone could let me know where this spell drops it would be greatly appreciated.

umm your math is WAY off dude. you divided by 2000... instead of 20,000

you lost 9% of your exp..
RE: no
# Oct 19 2004 at 4:12 AM Rating: Decent
He divided by 2K because that's how much he lost before raise
um
# Aug 07 2004 at 5:30 PM Rating: Default
o loose 10% of the total needed exp, not how much u have, then, u'd never loser a lvl if it was like that.
MP used is incorrect

The correct amount of MP this uses per cast is 175

1. Do you have bed in your moghouse
2. It is supposed to give back 75% of your lost 10%. Just like raise II. Itdoesnt give you more than Raise II (even though it should since whm have 4 lvls without Raise II for 4 lvls lol)

yes, I have a bed in my mog house, but I was under the impression it only returned experience if you respawned at your home point... but I heard it only as a rumor. (I even heard that bed exp returned USED to stack with raise, and now doesn't o.o;).

It would make more sense if beds effected every death, but if so, then why doesn't everyone have a bed in their mog house? ^_^ I recommend it, for sure.

ok, here's what i can figure (has an xcalc runing on a different desktop) ok, so the typical xp loss would have been 2k xp right? and raise2 gives 75% back, right? well, i did some number crunching and figured the bed had an effect of 24% xp... (what do you have? a royal bed?) also, beds don't give xp back... they prevent you from losing it in the first place... let's use a bronze bed (what i have :( ) and raise1 or reraise1 (also what i have) so if i have my moghancement: experience active and die at 7k tnl (what i am right now... lol) i would normaly lose 700, but with the bed active, i lose 10% less, 10% of 700 = 70 and 700-70 =630, which is what i would actually lose, wgether i'm raised or not. then when i am raised, i get 25% back. 25% of 700=175, so i would lose a total of 525, but 25% of 630 =126 and 630-126=504 total loss and 28% suposed return from raise... which i'm guessing is how the boosted riase rumor got started... person with a bed got raised and thought it was the DS lol...

anywho back to yours,
you should have lost 2000 xp, but with a 24% reduction in xp loss due to the bed, you only lost 1520 xp, thus when the 75% return from raise2 kicked in you recieved 1140 xp back, so 1520-1140=380 (what you lost) and 380/2k = 19% of what you would have lost without the bed+raise2.
so, the bed does stack in a sense, it's just figured in before the raise, and thus, isn't added directly in with the % you get back from the raise. make sense?

and me personaly, i take my bed out and use moghancement: fishining from time to time.. but right now my bed is overpowered by the stuff i have for storage... :( thus i don't get the 10% reduction... but i plan on getting a noble's bed for the next mof safe quest, and the better xp reduction soon, and it's got more leverage than a bronze bed, so that'll take care of that. :) also, i apologize if this post is abit lenghty

i prefer fire moghancement over exp because i rarely die yet i often craft with fire crystals and they raise your sucess rate

I had reraise II on the other day and happened to know my exp before death, and then checked it again after death. I'm level 60, exactly, so my tnl at 0 exp is 20,000.

I had 653 exp before death, 273 after death. Normally you lose 1/10 of your exp, right? So a little math...
653 - 273 = 380 380 / 2000 = 19%.

So I net lost 19% of what I should've lost on a normal death. This spell returned 81% of my experience points ^^; Hope this helped!

If you die you will be instantly Raised, you get the same HP as you would from Raise II.
