Fisherman's Bottom'

"For centuries, casting nets has been the favorite method of catching fish in the seas off Vylbrand. Because of this, those who work the nets to make a living have come to be called "pullers", and over the years, several independent crews of pullers have united to form small businesses of their own. These businesses can all be found in a district of Limsa Lominsa known as Fisherman’s Bottom. One of the largest organizations based there, Wawalago’s Pullers—whose activities include everything from the buying and selling of fish, bait, and tackle, to the maintenance of the local fisheries (the Barrel), and the upkeep of the area’s several lighthouses—has taken the name of "Fishermen’s Guild", with the laudable aim of offering instruction to aspiring fishermen and women."

Located in Limsa Lominsa, the Fishermen's Guild can be found in Fisherman's Bottom, in the southern area of the Lower Decks.

About The Guild

"Transforming oneself from an insignificant drop in an ocean of warmongering bladeslingers into a friend of the fish, a follower of the tides, requires little more than tossing that unsightly weapon of yours into the sea, and wrapping your hands around a freshly carved rod and a sackful of wriggling bait. But simply casting a line will not always guarantee a fickle fish will bite. The better her senses, the more luck she'll have in striking the mother lode. However, if you still long for a method to sate your violent primal urges, you can always take up a prickly prod in your off-hand and test your skills at spearfishing. Completing Fishing Fieldcraft Levequests can earn you Guild Marks, which allow you to purchase various abilities and items from Faucillien, the Fishermen's Guild Mark Vendor, located within Fisherman's Bottom. A list of available wares and their prices are listed below.

Guild Tasks

"Ever since the savage cetaceans that sup on the local sea creatures started increasing in size, the city-state's been suffering a severe shortage of seafood. To ensure our starved citizens are swiftly sated, the pullers are seeking the assistance of skilled fishers to scour the seas for fresh fish, and are offering a bounteous bounty for any brought back." ~ N'nmulika

Guild Tasks are simple quests in which the guild requests the adventurer to bring various items to the guild in exchange for a reward. Currently only Level 1 and Level 10 Guild Tasks are available. The requested item changes daily, and the reward varies. (Gil, Shards, etc.) You can find out which Tasks are available by either talking to N'nmulika or by examining Task Boards around Limsa Lominsa.

Guild Quests

As you level your Fishing, you will be able to undertake various quests that will require your talents as a Fisherman. These quests follow a storyline that revolves around the Fishermen's Guild and your role as a Fisherman in Eorzea. Although an awful lot of work may be involved in completing these quests, the rewards are well worth the effort. Below is a brief summary of the available quests, with links to lead you to their respective pages, where you can find more specific information, if you require assistance in completing your assigned task.
