ToAU 41: Light of Judgement

After the Endymion was blasted out of the sky, you and the King of Hearts make your way to Aht urghan Whitegate and rendezvous with Rodin-Comidin, the taru, who has already heard of your misfortune from Lady Karababa. The King of Hearts cardian entered Al Zahbi by swimming, and now his circuitry is no longer working properly.

Rodin-Comidin says Luzaf has been moved to Nyzul Isle, in the Ruins of Alzadaal. However, because the King of Hearts is malfunctioning (he is convinced Rodin-Comidin is Lady Karababa), the taru says you must break out Luzaf, alone. He gives you a Nyzul Isle route map, showing you the direction Luzaf was taken by his captors.

ToAU 42: Path of Darkness

Using the map given to you by Rodin-Comidin, you make your way into the depths of Nyzul Isle. However, you are quickly intercepted by the Immortal named Amnaf. The Immortal attacks you, summoning a trio of gears that rush your way. Suddenly, a figure appears, and crashing sounds fill the air. The gears fall to the ground, defeated. You look up, and you see... Naja Salaheem! Her help will come at a price, she said; but she's here to help, nonetheless.

Together, you and Naja chase Amnaf through Nyzul Isle. Twice, Amnaf summons more gears to try to stop you, but you and Naja beat them down. Finally, Amnaf battles you as his true form, a giant soulflayer. Despite his powerful magic, you defeat the powerful blue mage.

Suddenly, other Immortals enter the room, blocking any further progress into the catacombs of Nyzul Isle. Naja creates a diversion, and the two of you split up and escape, with plans to regroup at Salaheem's Sentinels. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

ToAU 43: Fangs of the Lion

When you get back to Naja's office, a surprise is there waiting for you -- Nashmeira, the Empress! She is pleased to hear that you and Naja tried to save Luzaf, even if you didn't succeed. But what to do next? The Immortals are too closely guarding the entryways into Nyzul Isle, Naja says.

Nashmeira has an idea. She remembers how her mother used to take her on walks through Nyzul Isle, and how they used a magic mythril mirror to teleport to the innermost chamber. Nashmeira reaches into her pocket, pulls out the small mirror and hands it to you.

The plan, Nashmeira says, is to use the mirror to reach where Razfahd is keeping Alexander. Nashmeira wants to try to convince her brother to de-activate his iron collosus, to make him realize how devastating another huge war would be. If that fails, it would be up to you to rescue Luzaf, she says.

Together, Nashmeira, Naja and you head out to Nyzul Isle to face what could be the most crucial battle in Vana'diel's modern history.

~ ToAU 48: Eternal Mercenary will remain in your log, even after you are completed. Congratulations on beating the Treasures of Aht Urghan expansion pack storyline. Enjoy your Ring and Crown, you deserve it. And watch out for that mace Naja carries around. Business end of that thing is not fun.
