IRC-Trillian5-0  

Step 1: Installation

1. Head over to www.trillian.im and click the "Trillian 5 for Windows " link for Trillian 5.
2. Follow the procedure to install the software. Or if this is hard to follow, Trillian has a great help page here.
3. After installation, login into Trillian using your Astra account.

Step 2: Add Connection

1. Go to to top left button on Trillian and click "Manage Accounts"

1. You should now have the account prefrences window up, at the bottom of this window should be a button named "Add a new account..."

1. A popup menu should appear of a wide range of services

Account Options

1. After you choose IRC you will see this below appear, In the Fields place this information then click connect.

• Account Name: Your ZAM Username
• Nickname: Your ZAM Username
• Serverhost: irc.allakhazam.com

1. You will see this popup, add into the "Room Title" the channel you want to enter, return back to IRC to find what channel you want to join. An example would be to put in "#Wikibase"
