Overview of Imperial

Welcome to Imperial, one of the oldest social linkshells on the Garuda server!

We are a fun-loving group from all walks of Vana'diel. Our linkshell originated soon after the NA release of FFXI when two smaller linkshells merged. The new group was called Wolf Brigade, named after our linkshell leader, Wolfsrain. After Wolf left the game sometime in 2005, we reformed under a new, pale-blue linkpearl -- Imperial -- with the beastmaster Zarovich as our leader.

Although many people have come and gone from the linkshell, a core group of founding and longtime members remain. Zarovich, Kiabrightblade, Aeora and Thayos are among active members who were in Wolf Brigade, and other members including Makina, Dani, Thekid and Galluspit have been around since Wolf Brigade became Imperial. We are always accepting new members -- we believe in giving everyone a chance -- so we constantly have new members working their ways up through the ranks.

Summary of members

We have people of all ranks, nations, jobs and levels. Our members range in age from high school through beyond college. We coexist in the linkshell by being open and honest with each other, and by remembering that although this is a game, we are all real people with real feelings.

We have no level, job, rank or e-peen requirements. We only ask that you be respectful of your fellow linkshell members.

Linkshell Events

Although Imperial does not hold regularly scheduled events, we sporadicaly do subligar runs, CoP missions, BCNMs, ENMs, assaults and NM camping. We also regularly hold skill-up parties, and people usually flock to help each other with key and coffer hunts.

Members can access a linkshell Web site, which is home to Makina's famous "A Mog's Journey" thread. Well, ok, maybe it's not really famous... but to us, it's priceless!
