Loot (WoW)

The term "loot" refers to either the act of picking up items (usually off a dead body,) or the items that you get from doing this.

When looking at a fallen opponent, right-click on the body will bring up a small window that will allow you to take the items that can be found on it. If you hold the shift key as you perform this right-click, your character will automatically loot everything on it without prompting you to select. If you do not have Click to Move enabled, you will need to be near the body to do this.

While getting loot is often a very important part of the game, don't be greedy in a group, lest you are branded as a Loot Whore, or worse, a Ninja.
