  • Map of the Crawlers' Nest
  • Mostly complete Other (Selbina) quest, An Explorer's Footsteps. The map is received after the 15 "easy" monuments. Batallia and Sauromugue monuments (and thus completing the quest) are not required.

  • Map of the Ranguemont Pass
  • Complete Other (Selbina) quest, The Rescue.

  • Map of Castle Zvahl

  • Complete Zilart mission 1, "The New Frontier".

  • Map of Promyvion - Holla
  • 1. Obtain Teal Memosphere in Promyvion - Holla (low drop rate from Thinker, high drop rate from NM Cerebrator).
  • 2. Trade Teal Memosphere to appropriate ??? on third or fourth floor (see ffxi-atlas). Note that there are two third floors depending on which memory receptacle you use on the second floor. One has a map ??? spawn point, one does not.

  • Map of Promyvion - Dem
  • 1. Obtain Beryl Memosphere in Promyvion - Dem (low drop rate from Gorger, high drop rate from NM Satiator).
  • 2. Trade Beryl Memosphere to appropriate ??? on third or fourth floor (see ffxi-atlas). Note that there are two third floors depending on which memory receptacle you use on the second floor. One has a map ??? spawn point, one does not.

  • Map of Promyvion - Mea
  • 1. Obtain Indigo Memosphere in Promyvion - Mea (low drop rate from Craver, high drop rate from NM Coveter).
  • 2. Trade Indigo Memosphere to appropriate ??? on third or fourth floor (see ffxi-atlas). Note that there are two third floors depending on which memory receptacle you use on the second floor. One has a map ??? spawn point, one does not.

  • Map of Promyvion - Vahzl
  • 1. Obtain White Memosphere in Promyvion - Vahzl (low drop rate from Thinker, Gorger, Craver; high drop rate from NMs Deviator, Provoker, Wailer).
  • 2. Trade White Memosphere to appropriate ??? on third or fifth floor (see ffxi-atlas).

  • Map of the Aqueducts
  • Check correct ??? in one of the four Phomiuna Aqueducts storage rooms (F-7, F-9, J-7, J-9, on the third map).

  • Map of Al'Taieu
  • Talk to all 20 of the Quasilumin NPCs in Al'Taieu, then talk to any one of them again.

  • Map of Hu'Xzoi
  • Talk to all 10 of the Quasilumin NPCs in the Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi, then talk to any one of them again.

  • Map of Ru'Hmet
  • Talk to all 10 of the Quasilumin NPCs in the Garden of Ru'Hmet, then talk to any one of them again.

  • Map of Dio. Abdhaljs-Ghelsba
  • Enter Diorama Abdhaljs-Ghelsba for the first time, and you will receive the map after zoning in.

  • Map of Abdh. Isle-Purgonorgo
  • Enter Abdhaljs Isle-Purgonorgo for the first time, and you will receive the map after zoning in.

  • Map of Mamook
  • Purchase for 1000 Imperial Standing in Aht Urhgan.

  • Map of Halvung
  • Purchase for 1000 Imperial Standing in Aht Urhgan.

  • Map of Arrapago Reef
  • Purchase for 1000 Imperial Standing in Aht Urhgan.

  • Map of Alzadaal Ruins
  • Trade three Imperial Mythril Pieces to the NPC at Bhaflau Thickets (F-6) who allows entry to Alzadaal.

  • Map of the Chocobo Circuit
  • Make your way to the center of the Chocobo Circuit, click ??? on central desk, choose to take a map.

Temporary maps:

  • These maps all automatically appear in your key items list when you enter the relevant area for Assault, Salvage, or Campaign Ops, and automatically disappear when you leave. These cannot be kept permanently.
