Overview of Olzhirya
Olzhirya is a roleplaying linkshell in the Alexander server.
Roleplaying is acting out the identity of a character -- in this case, your character in Vana'diel. Olzhirya allows players to enhance their FFXI experience by giving them a means by which they can act as their character(s).
The name Olzhirya comes from the name of the southern continent, homeland of the mithra. The linkshell itself holds no particular preference toward mithra even though it was begun by one.

Linkshell Rules
- Keep all regular speech in-character. Use (parentheses) to talk out-of-character.
- Respect other players, either in- or out-of-character. They are people too.
- The limits of your character are the limits of probability.
The third point is important. Be creative with your character, but don't expect a telepathic immortal lover of Archduke Kam'lanaut or an omnipotent illegitimate child of Shantotto and Volker to be taken seriously.
Linkshell Events
Events happen as they happen. Members are encouraged to help each other out with whatever needs doing.
How to Join
The only prerequisites are a decent grasp of English grammar and a desire to get a fine roleplaying experience out of Final Fantasy XI.
Once you have those, send a message or a tell to Cihrrus in-game, or an e-mail to cihrrus(at)pol(dot)com, with a description of your character. Include anything you feel is relevant, but please don't send a ten-page paragraph.
