Server
MMORPGs are all hosted on a collection of servers, to which the clients (the program the players use) connect to. Which server you play on is usually chosen at the time of character creation, although some games provide a Character Move service, which will allow you to move a character to another server for a fee.
Each server usually has a name, and some games call the servers by a word other than server. For instance, in Star Wars Galaxies they are called Galaxies, and in World of Warcraft they are called Realms.
