Ogre Culture

Led by Tyrants, Ogre culture is centered around eating stemming from their reverence of the god they worship called The Great Maw who was originally sent to destroy their kingdoms. Priests of their god, called Butchers or Slaughtermasters, serve as cooks for their clans and organize their religious holidays.

Cannibalism is no stranger to the Ogre tribes, often in small skirmishes over food or some other trivial matter it is not uncommon for the winner to claim a few fingers or other small appendages as a victory snack while in larger battles, challenging the leadership of the Tyrant, for example, the loser is almost always the next meal for the victor.

Ogres have taken to co-existing with a small Greenskin race known as Gnoblars which serve as pets or slaves. Because they're too small and stringy to eat, Ogres will often pick a favorite Gnoblar and mark it by taking a bite from its ear. It is a major infraction to eat an ogre's favorite Gnoblar, punishable by any number of horrible act, such as the removal and force-feeding of one's hands to oneself.
