Trading 7 at 519 is 3633GP. You must trade 8 in order to get the 4k.

Figured i'd give a heads up since i just traded this, and used the site as a reference in how much to trade. 8 not 7.

As an Artisan in Cooking at level 69 I was asked to turn these in for up to 4000 Guild Points.

NQ counted as 519 pts.

I wasn't even at the skill cap, so I can't comment on how many GP a HQ would merit.

Eight NQs add up to 4152 GPs, so save yourself a few gils and don't buy full stacks of ingredients like I did. ^_^

I had extra gil to burn from BCNM40s, Garrisons and such, and so skilled up from 63.5 - 68 using Dhalmel Stew after reading about the new stats here. (I refuse to make anything so useless as a colored egg.)

My LS mates are already sold on it, as are the LS mates of a couple other cooks I told about it.

Since I had this stuff coming out my mules' ears, I gave a lot away to build awareness on Fairy server. I've got regulars now, and I'm a regular Dhalmel Stew dealer. My average cost, buying all ingredients at ridiculous AH prices (with the exception of the tomatoes, which I'd already acquired in Kazham), was around 1,350 per stew.

Given that the stew lasts 3 hours, that's 450 gil (production cost) per hour. Compare that to the nerfed Mithkabob yields, with Miths averaging 500 gil each (typical retail cost) for 30 minutes. Now take into account the stew's VIT+2 vs. the Mith's VIT-1. Finally, these have a price history in Jeuno of 3,500, though I list mine in bazaar for considerably less.

It doesn't take a math whiz to see that these are a viable - and potentially profitable - alternative to mithkabobs.

Ok...?
#REDACTED, Posted: May 31 2004 at 1:42 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I recieved a bowl of dhalmel Stew when I was trying to get the quest from Ranpi-Monpi for "A Crisis in the making". He was singing the Martha Stew song. After after 5 times, he says that when you sing the song Martha Stew song 5 times, it makes Dhalmel Stew. Then he gave me a bowl.
